We are planning on going ashore only in Costa Maya. Just wondering if either of the other two ports would have Christmas decorations up that might be worth going to see. I just enjoy looking and would think with the strong Christian influence in the Carribean it might be something worth wandering and looking at. Any one been there that time of year?

I seem to remember seeing a large Christmas tree in Cozumel when we were there in Dec 2006 but I do not remember any specifics.

Well we are officially back on this cruise. Just booked the IGT rate this morning. Glad we took the gamble. It saved us some $$ and we still have our on board booking to use for a future cruise. We could have booked a VGT for about $100 less than our original booking but decided to save the money and stick with an inside which is what we originally booked. The kids LOVED the magic portholes on the Dream so we will be happy as long as we are on the ship.

So Delta called us today - Apparently our flight from Detroit on the Friday is overbooked. Something about switching plane types. They wanted to offer us a $200 voucher if we switch to a later flight. Has anyone done this before? I thought they had to offer $400-$800 dependent upon how much later you got to your destination.

What a great spreadsheet! Thanks for coordinating this for all of us! We are in stateroom #5178 and we are celebrating Olivia's 5th birthday, my 40th, and the completion of the Ph.D.!!

I never verified to see if it was there - I just assumed. I asked to be included on 06-11-2012, 04:07 PM.
