Anyone else cruising the Western Caribbean during Thanksgiving time?? We booked this cruise and are super excited to see the reimagined Magic!

Hi gingerellen, we actually just moved over to the 11/22/14 Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy. I hope you and the rest of your crew have a great cruise!!

We just switched over to this cruise! I am super excited about seeing the new magic and this will complete our tour of all 4 boats.

wow, I'm surprised there is hardly anyone here posting yet! we are considering going on this cruise - this is the last ship we haven't been on yet! wondering how it is to cruise for thanksgiving!

update - we are now booked on this cruise! can't wait to sail the Magic for the first time! this will be our 4th Disney cruise - we are also dvc members..I have 2 kids - Katie will be 14 and Josh will be 16 at the time of the sailing. Hope we get more people posting! My daughter especially likes to "talk" with kids her age beforehand from the same cruise.

Myself, husband and son 18 and daughter 14.

I am really excited about going on the new Magic!

We have been on all 4 ships, and this will be 7th cruise with Disney!

JuST HELD A ROOM FOR THIS CRUISE.

aS OF NOW IT WILL BE JUST MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF.

I have learned the hard way not to expect my teen to want to come all the time.

We will be sailing with some Great Friends........

I imagine she will be popping in sometime here too.

We are in a port hole for now.....

This will be my 7th cruise but possibly 8th trying to fit one more in before this one.

And let the count down BEGIN!!!

Sorry, I have to get used to checking post on the DIS again. I only post here when I have a cruise because otherwise these boards are so large and overwhelming to me! I love them though for cruise meets and FE etc.

Ok, I've never sailed the Magic, but I"ve been reading some horror stories as of late, concerning the Magic now that it's out of dry dock! I know our cruise is still a year away, but I'm a bit freaked about hearing of plumbing problems and such in staterooms, esp. since one of our rooms is one that is having issues! anyone else bothered by the recent reports?

No, I am sure it will be corrected by the time we sail, I originally had us scheduled to go on it next month, glad I changed it!

We are also booked on this cruise!! This will also complete our tour of all four ships and will be our 10th Disney Cruise!! It will be me, DW, and DS (6)! Definitely interested in a FE!!! Cruised over Thanksgiving last year on the Fantasy and it was wonderful!! Can't wait!!!

We will be on this Magic cruise next Thanksgiving! It will be myself, DH, DS (9) and DD (7) at the time of the cruise. This will be our 2nd Disney cruise and first time on the Magic. We would like to connect with other families with kids that are similar ages. Cannot wait!!

Welcome. so far we have a small group here, but I am sure it will pick up next year as cruise gets closer

We just rebooked while on the Wonder out of Galveston on 23 Nov. Nice to be going back out of Port Canaveral so we get a trip to the World and be on the Magic.

We have never done Western as most of our cruises have been 3 day adventures or EC. This will be a nice change.

It will be me, DW, and DD (14).

My DD is 14 too, and my son will be 18, they are freshman and senior in high school.
