I'm figuring first week of November is going to be very difficult, unless there's a slew of cancellations. A lot of resorts were already showing as sold out (notably, Pop) well before all of this started, because of the Jersey Week/Wine & Dine races combo. Pop is still showing as sold out, even now.

Yeah, I'm thinking you are right. I just don't know if my husband will be willing to travel in August. Ugh.
 
We are booked for two weeks at Disney (doing a split stay) starting on November 14th through 28th. When I originally booked, several resorts were unavailable. Now, even Pop is available for the first week of our trip.

I'm wondering the same. And also hoping for a discount!
I just rebooked my May trip this evening. Either the system wasn't working right (per CM) or there are no more military discounts left for the 2nd week of November. I booked a room just to have something, but hoping to change at a later date to a different resort if any discounts show up.

Not sure what this means in terms of overall availability! But when I did check in general before calling, I saw many rooms were available at various resorts, but some seemed to be the more expensive room categories. The CM recommended I call back another time to see if it showed any discounted inventory for military. Also keeping an eye out for fall discounts!
 


We are traveling Nov. 24-Nov. 30. Have a decent AAA rate booked at the Dolphin, but would love to have other options to consider. Wouldn't normally even consider discounts over the holiday, but following this thread just in case low attendance over the next few months prompts WDW to go big to get people there. At the end of 2008, for travel Jan-June of 2009, we were blessed with the Buy 4 Get 3 free discount over spring break (first week of April) and never would have believed it if I hadn't experienced it myself. Hard to say what the next few months will bring.
 
We just rebooked our May 9-17 trip for November 14-22. We had a 30% off pin code, so really hoping a comparable discount comes along for the fall. Is there usually a deal offered in November?
 
We had to cancel our end of April vacation so we are now looking at November/December. When do discounts for these month generally come out? Depending upon the status of the Corona Virus at that time, we may just wait until 2021. :sad2:

I just got off the phone with guest services... she told me that further discounts are coming in the next month or so- she told me to stay patient but that they may extend the free dining and/or offer deeper discounts. Time will tell if this is true or not.
 
Hoping for discounts in early/mid November as well. Right now I have a room-only reservation booked at the Polynesian - it's expensive but I'll still stay if they offer no discounts. I'm hoping for a free dining plan.
 
Ok question. i have A reservation for November 26 checking out the 2nd of December This year. if they offer a discount or free dining does it have to fall on all my days to get the discount or dinning or just one of them to be used on my whole trip. Thanks

As long as your check in date falls within the discount window, you will receive the discount for your entire stay.

I thought this just applied to the free dining offer. Do you get a room discount if the only date is your checkin date?
 
Looking to book our cancelled March trip for November.
The prices are so much higher!
Our AP expires in May so we'll really miss that AP discount..
 
I am talking about a package. So on a vacation package if one day falls I am good for the discount. Correct???

I noticed there was free dining sometimes. If we rent points can we get free dining if it is available? If we use a discount code on a room, can we get free dining? Lastly, how do you get discount codes?
