I have been coming since I was a kid in the sixties when tickets were used on rides. We usually come about every 3 years. My kids prefer DL over DWD. Took the plunge and bought annual passes last December so have made it out 3 times this year. Our trip in November will end r year of annual passes as it was a once in a life time as it is too far to come all the time. It was on my bucket list and now can cross it off. We will do 3 days and a couple of days at the resort. Are u coming in November?

Yes I'm
Coming in Nov. we have AP's too. At least 2 trips out of it. :)

I'm an AP holder and go at least once per month, BUT my best friend and her family are flying in from Houston. We all have rooms at Courtyard Marriott Theme Park Entrance. It's their first time with their two boys (2years, 9 months) so I'm extra excited to spend the weekend of 11/4-11/6 at Disney with them.

Hi all. We are staying at the Homewood Suites Nov 27-Dec 3. :woohoo: We haven't stayed there before.

I totally missed this thread! We're hoping to be there 11/15 to 1/20 this year. We have not done November before. I'm hoping to miss the crowds of opening weekend for holiday time, and the crowds of Thanksgiving. We'll see how that works out! Not sure on where we're staying yet. Probably PP.

Does anyone have a link to last year's park hours/entertainment schedule from last November?

We are going November 28th - Dec 1st and staying at the Stanford Inn & Suites. Only staying 3 nights at the Stanford (M-T-W) though, because we have friends in Anaheim and will crash at their houses the night before and after to keep this trip more budget friendly. There will be 7 of us, (me and DH, 5 kids: 10, 8.5, 6, 2.9, and 4 months) so we are a little expensive to feed, house, and ticket! :)

We changed our accommodations to the Park Vue Inn. We decided it was worth a few more $ to have a queen bad and bunk beds for the girls. It gets good reviews, so I hope wee aren't disappointed.

Just booked for November 27 - December 2nd at the Carousel. Been going to Disneyland all my life, and never stayed there. I'm usually a Marriott person, but this needs to be more budget friendly, since there is Christmas shopping to be done! They gave me an amazing rate! Let's just say that 5 nights here is significantly cheaper than the 3 I spent at the Courtyard this month. And sheesh, does ANY hotel in Anaheim have free parking anymore? That was a major turn off from Marriott too. 20-30 bucks a night for parking? That's another night in a room somewhere else. It's 14 at Carousel. I said they really need to just hide that in the room fee, to hear I have to pay to park just sounds bad.

It can be a challenge but HOJO offers free parking ( one of the many reasons we are trying them out next week) , as does Ramada Plaza Anaheim ( corner of Harbor/Katella) - just stayed there 2 weeks ago and was very happy.
Most the convention area hotels charge so much because the convention center has their hand in it too. Also as they cater to such , many who stay there can expense it.

If memory serves me right it's not juts the hotel that imposes the fee but the city too. Carousel was acquired by Disney last year I think and charges for everything hence why I haven't stayed there.
I'm an overplanner and overbook and constantly review and re-check reservations. I've personally found that the "motels" and proximity make it far up to me by giving good rates with parking fees.
As we typically drive , paying 20-25 a night in parking isn't worth it to us.

I get the week of Thanksgiving off from work, so I'm aiming to be there November 20-23. Possibly a solo trip, but my DH might decide to come along.

I'm staying at the Grand Legacy at the Park (formerly Ramada) -- has anyone stayed there before?

Yes I have before and during the remodel. Walk is easy , breakfast is pretty decent but gets busy and rooms are comftorable.

We've had no issues and really enjoy staying there. Their rooftop bar just opened recently but haven't had a chance to check it out. It's been our regular place but HOJO had a rate we couldn't pass up for this weekend and I got Best Western Park Pkace Inn for Nov 23-27th for $611 with taxes so that's our next try:)

We are all booked! November 2-7 at PPH. My daughter will likely be getting married next year so it's our last mom/daughter trip. Probably. ;)
