I havent seen my youngest DD since mid August when we moved her into college. This is the longest we've gone without seeing each other.

3 weeks from now we'll be in our Happy Place

I'm not sure yet but I have a few ideas. The reveal will take place before we leave. They think that we are going to Georgia to visit relatives, but I know they will not be disappointed when they find out the truth.

We leave in a week! EEEK! Not super thrilled about this heat wave that Florida seems to be experiencing but hey, we'll be in Disney, so we'll be happy regardless! Of course, though, still secretly hoping that the temps will drop a bit before we arrive. We had such LOVELY weather last year and I was hoping for more of the same.

Trying to do some searching through the forum...but having little luck. Am I out of the loop, I know a lot of things aren't exactly "hopping" at DHS attraction-wise, but is the Lightning McQueen-Mater meet and greet going away? refurb? We're going on 30 Nov, and there are no times for me to put in my reminders...maybe it's just too far out for "schedules?" Figured I'd ask the DIS experts! Thank you!

We got to Orlando on Wednesday but have been holed up at the Marriott World Center for a convention. Tomorrow we shift into Disney mode and move over to Orbit One, activate our annual passes, and let the fun begin! We will also be volunteering at GKTW Village this week as well as running in their Gingerbread Run 5K next weekend before heading home.
