....too early? What site would you recommend for codes that is reputable? Thanks!

Might be a bit early. I have used mousesavers.com in the past.

I'll be watching this! I have not settled on exact dates, and so no flights yet, but I will be watching! I have gotten GREAT rates in mid-november in the past, although last year it was tougher.

I'm on the look out for a good rate as well. So far I'm not seeing anything that great. And by that I mean...I really don't want to pay $250 for a week.

As a newbie, what should I be shooting for on a 1 week minivan rental? $250-$300? If I'm staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, it seems like it makes more sense to take taxi vans for daily park travel ($10-$20) unless I can get at least $250, when one figures in $17/day parking.

I will be watching this thread very closely. Already booked the resort and airplane tickets, so just need this last piece!

Following also I've havent rented a car in ages and we need to drive from Orlando to the Miami port. Not even sure what a good price is, but I have noticed when I search my dates it says there's only a limited amount of cars because it's a high demand week? Do I need to book something soon? Travel dates are Nov. 21st-24th.

It might be considered high demand because it is so close to Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving is on the 26th this year.

I just book a mid-size SUV for November 13-22 for a total of $300.00. It was $187 a week, and an additional $26 for each extra day, and I needed an extra hour, which was $5. I thought that was a good deal for a midsize.I am hoping to do much better than $300 (in 2011 I got 11 days for about $100 in a full size). But I can live with $300 and I love the idea of a mid-sized SUV. The other car classes (including economy) were all still really expensive ($400+)

I did use the AP code, but it was only a few dollars more than booking with just the Alamo Insiders code (which is free to join)
