As you can see, most of the 15-30% Room-Only discounts for November were announced in late July/early August the last two years...Not that 2015 will necessarily be the same, but it's a pattern to watch for sure.
I just booked a trip for september and was told that if I also got ticket to the park I would get a free meal plan I have an AP so I do not need ticket but if anyone is going end of september you might want to call and ask about this. not sure on the detail at all
Do the AP ro discounts usually come out before the general public? I have been checking for a pin code in the mail and email daily but sad to say nothing yet. It's funny because when I can't go I get tons of pin codes. Oh well ....
I'm curious if they will have the room discount this year. I got a PIN good for the fall and we couldn't use it since there weren't any discounted rooms left at the resorts we wanted.

The only rooms we could get with my pin was Cl bw and Cl ak. No other room categories had discounted rooms left (but all had full priced rooms except YC). We were looking at deluxe, not sure about mods.
That sucks! It's probably a marketing ploy. They get you so excited that you got a UOC, that you feel you have to use it and spend $$$ on club level. I'd rather not get one than get it and not be able to use it.
It appears that more rooms have opened up for the public free dining offer. There was nothing since the release and last night there were lots of options. I talked to a CM who confirmed the additional rooms...
When free dining first opened up, I could not find any availability to apply the discount to my existing package which is from November 14 - 21, Poly CL garden view. They had plenty of Lagoon view available but upgrading my room category would have wiped out all of the savings from the free dining. We are 3 adults, one child so either dining discount or room discount, it would come out about the same amount of savings. Discount or no discount, we were going and leaving things as is.
The good news is, I checked again on Wednesday of this week and found that they had opened up a bunch of rooms for the free dining plan for the Poly for that time frame so I was able to call in and apply the discount to my existing reservation saving me $1350. So, moral of the story is, if at first you don't succeed, try try again. Especially when it comes to Disney.
I am going 11/14-22. I do have a Pin/UOC RO discount for the period that I got a few weeks ago and keep checking, but SO few rooms are included and mostly high-end/concierge. There are LOTS of rooms available if you just search without the Pin. Does not bode well for a public RO discount. But, hoping they might open up some rooms...
