I know it's early but I'm excited :cool1:to start planning. Hoping for free dinning but honestly it's been 5 years I'll be happy with anything. We are actually going Nov 28 - Dec 5.:santa:

We'll be at CBR November 13-22! Hoping for free dining! We've had it on every trip we've taken, so hopefully our streak will stay alive! :goodvibes
We'll take whatever discount we can get, though! :woohoo:

Never too early to be hopeful!!! I'll be at WL Nov 5-14th!!!! Hoping for a room only discount for this trip. For once I am not doing the regular ddp, just QSDP and I already that my check-in date will most likely be blacked out for FD anyway. May is not far for all of you FD hopefuls! That is, if they release it around the same time they did last year. RO discounts weren't until July so hurry up July!!!!!

I just booked October 30 to November 8 at POFQ. Looking for a discount as well. Hoping for Free Dining, but will take anything to help cut costs.

We are going post cruise, check in Nov 13. Not sure how long we are staying, mostly depends on if we can get a room discount

Does anyone know what the room-only pin code offer was in 2014? I received pins in my email most of last year (fingers crossed they'll come again) -I can't remember if it was 30% or if pin went up to 35% off?

The following might be of interest to those who are only interested in a room-only booking in November, especially over Thanksgiving.
Prices based on 2 Adults, 2 Children.

Disney's All-Star Music Resort in a Standard Room
Nightly rate (£51.40) $77.50 between Sun, Nov 1 and Sun, Nov 15
Nightly rate (£61.40) $92.50 between Mon, Nov 16 and Sun, Dec 6

Disney's rack rate varies between $111 and $155, therefore there's a potential saving between 30% and 40%.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in a Standard Room
Nightly rate (£126.50) $191 between Sun, Nov 1 and Sun, Dec 6

Disney's rack rate varies between $361 and $451, therefore there's a potential saving between 47% and 57%.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge in a Standard Room - Club Level
Nightly rate (£240) $361 between Sun, Nov 1 and Sun, Dec 6

Disney's rack rate varies between $595 and $737, therefore there's a potential saving between 39% and 51%.

Please note, you can't add a dining plan or park ticket to this UK-Expedia offer but can use Disney's Magical Express and link the reservation to My Disney Experience and if a better offer comes along you can cancel up to 5-days before check in. Payment is required up front in British Pounds £'s so best to use a non-fee currency credit card and for more information on these room only rates check out this thread on the Dis Budget Boards.....http://www.disboards.com/threads/di...-the-british-expedia-web-site-update.3222577/

Thank you for sharing the info Samaya!
Thank you fanoftigger and hope you can find a good room rate for your dates.

Usually, the room rates on the British UK Expedia web site are the same for weekday, weekend and for US holidays such as Thanksgiving and therefore can be as good or better than Annual Passholder discounts.

The UK Expedia offer will possibly end on or around 31st March, this due to a similar room only discount on the UK Disney web site which ends 31st March, this offer has been running since 17th December so as we're approaching the end of this offer prices will rise, dependent on the number of rooms booked.

So for those looking for a room only offer it's worth searching through this site and then comparing against historic US offers from those listed on Mousesavers and good luck.

Just a quick question- when do fall discounts usually get announced? Are there multiple types of discounts or just strictly free dining?

Fall discounts are usually announced around July/August, but last year FD was announced in early May.
There's usually a room only discount as well as FD, but those discounts can't be stacked. You'd have to figure out which deal would be best for you.

Do they typically have room/package discounts for AoA suites in November? We are booked for 11/21-11/27 in the Little Mermaid Room. I was hoping a room discount would come available over the summer for our stay in November, so we could upgrade to a suite.

The suites are usually included with free dining and room only discounts so it does look for you if they do come out later! LM rooms are still excluded.

Haven't booked yet, but thinking of going the week of Thanksgiving, checking in Thursday or Friday before Thanksgiving. Watching for discounts...

It's getting down to crunch time. I need to decide if I want to just book now and hope that a free dining promotion, should it pop up, can be applied to my reservation, or wait it out for the promotion to start and then book.

Hmm.

Going thanksgiving week, but would happily go down Thursday before to get free dining like last year. We are booked in 2 rooms at ASMO right now, but would be able to add 2 nights and go to CBR if we got free dining, so REALLY crossing fingers here.

We just booked our trip for over Thanksgiving 11/21- 11/28. Not completely sure of where we want to stay - we had a trip booked for May that we had to reschedule for Thanksgiving, had to pick a resort to call & reschedule before the date passed that we'd have a penalty change fee- so we picked the WL. Alot of people on here rave about how beautiful it is decorated for Christmas - it looks lovely! If any discounts come out for part of our stay, we'll probably switch to a split stay and get to try 2 new resorts :)
