I just got my Alamo rental down $50 from last week. It's now $141 for a full-size 11/15-11/23, using the annual pass ID code and the $30 off coupon (AD2338FDF).
Everyone should check alamo. I was just able to get a rental down from $175 to $114. Picking up at MCO dropping off at FLL. Used Costco code & $30 off united Airlines coupon. Pick up Nov 22 drop off Nov 29
Thanks to this site, I am down to $140 for a standard car (Alamo), $149 full size (Budget) and $271 for Midsize SUV (Alamo) for my trip Nov 12 - 19. I really want the Midsize SUV, so I'm hoping that will drop some more.
Is there a ritual we can do that gets the rates down, you know, like the kids that wear their pajamas backwards for it to snow
My DS wears his PJs inside out AND backwards AND he puts an ice cube in every toilet in the house before he goes to bed when he is hoping for a snow day. Je says he needs to make sure he has his bases covered

I have a coworker that grew up in Quebec and whenever we are hoping for a snow day at work, he goes " we had them in Canada but we called them Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday", maybe he should have tried the ice in the toilet!!!!
I have used the kiosks from Alamo with the check in and it was SUPER easy. I was there and out in seconds while people were in line. Highly recommend.
It looks like AAA with Dollar and Thrifty is on an up in quote for the past 24 hours. Rentals that were $122 all in yesterday are quoting at $200 today. Glad I have my $112 all set...though I do keep checking it to make sure it isn't a dream and I didn't enter something wrong
Thanks to all on this thread. I've only rented a car one other time and had no idea what To expect price-wise. I booked through Alamo tonight and got a full-size for $132 for 11/20-27...I'm thinking that's pretty good??

You can usually find them on the travel section of the Costco website if you search for car rentals.
Costco Codes:
Enterprise - Customer #: CSTCUPG
Alamo - Contract ID: 7014627 Avis - AWD Code: A108326 & Coupon Code: MUGA049 ($30 off) there may be better ones out there. Budget - BCD Code: W852802 & Coupon Code: MUGZ090 ($25 off) but I know there are better ones out there MUGZ025 ($40 off for 10+ days)
I'm going to wdw in October and then in November. It's amazing but the November rental prices are much lower than October. My rates for October are almost double of what I'm seeing for November.
I made my NINE cancellations today with Alamo and still have three left. Sorry Alamo, but if your prices didn't change so much, neither would I We have to do what's necessary to save money wherever we can!!
Keep checking your rates. My 8 day rental in San Diego from Alamo just went down another $15 from my last booking a week ago. Down $58 from initial booking 3 weeks ago using the same costco code 7014627 and united $30 off ad2492acx. We're now booked for a mid-size for $150.
Feelt great with my $195 rate last Sunday. Checked today and Alamo Ford Fusion for 11/5-11/10 is $135 total (out of Tampa) Funny thing- I put in my alamo rewards number and got $150 and then signed out and it went DOWN to $135.
This on top of saving close to $150 each way x 3 people by flying into Tampa vs MCO this trip!
