I received an fd pin by email today but it was in my sisters name! can't use it.

I wonder if you got onto her disney account and changed it to your name if they could tell? Since you can edit your name.

that's the thing. she doesn't have a Disney account. I always do the bookings for my family and everything comes to my house, I use my email and my phone number. its sad really but I know that fd will come out to the general public soon anyways.

If the address is your home address you can use the pin

I would so love the pin for FD. I received one in the mail at the beginning of the year but couldn't use it. Crossing my fingers. Hopefully they will release the FD in a couple of months to public. Hoping but not expecting.

I haven't read through all of the posts so please forgive me if this has been asked already. To all those that received the FD pins, did you already have your trip booked? I didn't get a pin but had my November trip booked already and was wondering if that could be a reason why?

So I called and no pin linked to my name. I did however ask if it would be released to the general public and the CM stated that it has been historically but couldn't guarantee and is usually 2-3 mths after pin release. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

I called and no pin, but the CM said not to give up hope because they released some pins yesterday BUT they do them in waves so no everyone calls at once...fingers crossed for everyone!

the cm I spoke to earlier stated that as of now I have no pin to my name also that my check in date would not fall in the time to get it. But to keep checking back in and make sure to check my email for something because there is always something... she all said this in a voice that sounded like keep your hopes up it will get to you even your dates. I wish they could just tell us!

Going November 9th through the 16th! Even though we wont be there til its the 10th lol its for our honeymoon and we wont be getting there til late since we are driving.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! My husband and went there for our honeymoon 25 years this September.

I know, our dates are off by one day but I guess I could do a room only on the 10th and start the pkg. the next day and maybe extend it to the 17th

We got the pin. But our dates (Nov 4-12) are blacked out. Its a bit bittersweet.

.... booked this morning (not for November but late October). Also made all but one Advanced Reservation. The only one we couldn't lock down was Be Our Guest. Got Reservations at Tutto Italia, Mama Melrose, 1900 Park Fare, Tusker House and Spirit of Aloha. We have been waiting for this deal since last year when we also got lucky with free dining. Our son has food allergies and we love the dining plan, especially when it's free. Good luck everyone.
