SCORE!!!! I just called and got a reservation for T-Rex on Sunday Dec 2nd @ 4:00 pm., right before we go to MVMCP!!!!! Thanks Smileybug, you are awesome! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:dance3::dance3::dance3:

I should probably look up and see if T-Rex honors the dining plan. lol I got so excited about the phone number I just called. Oh well if it isnt, just another reason to feed my face!!

But now I am thinking that maybe I should have switched out Mama Melrose. This is the restaurant that we haven't eaten at but I'm kind of questioning. We are basically meat (steak) and potato eaters, and chicken of course. My husband doesn't care for Italian but I wanted to try something different. We have already been to Rain Forest but liked the food and atmosphere. Hmmmm, decisions!!

Thanks again SmileyBug!

T-Rex is part of the dining plan. We just ate there two weeks ago and used our meal plan. :thumbsup2

so upset, trying to get Chef Mickey switch from 11-26 to 11-25 for breakfast around 9:30 and trying to add 2 more people to my crt for breakfast at 10am on 11-26, and everything is booked:sad:

Don't give up! When BOG opens up I'm positive there will be lots of ADR movement. I tried for 3 weeks straight, multiple times a day to get a dinner ressie for Ohana and persistence paid off!! Good luck!!

We have a quinny zapp. It's smaller and lighter, and the only stroller they will allow in cabin on the airplane. Our DD is 2 almost 3, and we still have to have one. It is super light, and can push it with a finger. It doesn't recline, but DD doesn't care she sleeps in it pretty easily.

I bought a Baby Trend Sit n Stand specifically for our trip (and it was 50% off, too!!), but I've got 2 girls, 5 & 2, that will use it. We drive, so lugging it through the airport isn't an issue, but I like to have my stroller at the resort & DTD, too. Definitely let him "try" a few next time you go to BRU, find one he's comfortable in and see if you can rent 1 in Orlando, or go ahead and buy it. I'd probably bring a stroller even if I only had my 5yr old. She might spend most of the day walking, but eventually she'll wanna ride and until then, the basket underneath is real handy!

DS5 will definitely be riding in a stroller in November, and he will have just turned 6. We bought a Maclaren Volo a few years ago and it has been wonderful. Folds up like an umbroller, but the comfort and storage space of a regular stroller, with a carrying strap. I think it's designed for up to 55 lbs. Seems to be the most popular stroller at Disney; have to mark it well to not grab the wrong one.

Thank you for the suggestions.

I think I'm going to rent the Mini Stroller GT (2012 version) which has a capacity of 65lbs rather than just 50lbs of the Mini City.
My DS is a tall 4 year old and even though he's not overweight at all, he's already near 50lbs which really limits our options. Many times people mistake him for a 6 or 7 year old. But I know he will need the stroller as he still gets tired on day long trips and honestly I love having a place to store our stuff.

I was bummed about not being able to fit Le Cellier into our schedule before lunch goes to 2 TS credits next year, but the Disney Food Blog just listed the Food & Wine menu and the Canada booth will serve both the cheddar cheese soup AND the Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle Butter Sauce!!!

We planned on eating at the booths for lunch on our Epcot day, so now I have the best of both worlds -- food & wine and a little taste of Le Cellier!!! :cool1:

Speaking of food...and Epcot...I've been looking at the desserts at Liberty Inn and I'm wondering what a "Rice Krispies Treats Special Recipe" is. Is it different from all the other Rice Krispies Treats I've had at Disney?

Also what about the S'Mores Mousse Brownie? Is that a smore and some mousse and brownie all put together?

Lastly...did you like any of these, or the apple pie?

Seems like I always end up with chocolate cake or rice krispies and I'm on a mission to have some different desserts this time!

They extended FDing through Dec 20th~bookings must be down

Wow..... I knew bookings were down. There are still to many rooms available in to many resorts. I did a little snooping around yesterday and I was shocked at the availability.

I feel you on the height. DD2 is already 40in tall, but only 31 pounds. Very difficult to find pants. Between her height and the way she talks people think she is about 4. I'm scared on how tall she will be when she is 4. She is going thru another growth spurt also. Always hungry. Someday she will slowdown. I never thought about needing a stroller at 4..

thanks! i hope so fingers crossed

Anyone doing any late ADR after the parks, I am having a backup plan if I cant score crt for 2 more guest i will then be sticking to chef mickey and doing 1900 park fare for 830 dinner or chef mickey dinner at 9:05.
I've never done a late dinner after the parks, but now that my kids are going to be 5 and 3 and im pretty sure they will be hungry,

My 7 year old is 51 inches, but she has Marfan so she's supposed to be super tall and skinny. We're still taking a stroller. In part to carry our stuff (jackets & swimsuits all in one trip...oy) but also because she always seems to nap in her stroller at Disney.

Hopefully, maybe, they'll extend the Military salute, too, so I can compare that discount with our current price!

On a happy note, my foster daughter's adoption was finalized this morning; she's my official daughter now!

Based on fire codes and restrictions you are very likely to be turned away if you show up for an ADR for two with four. The two top tables would not accommodate you even if the fire codes are not maxed out for capacity - I would cancel that and hope to find one for your real number of people.

Tusker house has had Mickey, Minnie, Daisy and Goofy both times we went in Safari costumes. :goodvibes
