OTE=aubreysmom09;45665767]DH and I figured out our back up plan if the school doesn't repay us in time. Hopefully Disney puts a discount out for February, but if not we will do what we did in April. We rented a house in town. We can't afford to stay at Disney without a discount. It was a $1500 difference. Doesn't help DD will be 3 if we go in February. The house with tickets and food would be about the same cost as the trip in November.. Don't get me wrong renting a 4bedroom townhouse is great, but I've never stayed at Disney. Until the money gets here I will be on pins and needles *fingers, crossed*[/QUOTE]

It wouldn't hurt to call Disney and see if they can work with you on your final payment date. I've read on here that they can extend it as long as they know what's going on. It may be worth a try. Hope it works out for November!!:goodvibes

Yay! Maybe we can fly instead of drive 13 hours! DD will barely be potty trained.. she was trained in may but then we all got hand, foot, and mouth disease. She has just shown interest again. Flying would be so much easier. If not I'm grateful its an easy moderate drive. Pretty much I95 all the way.

Any idea how you got the hand, foot and mouth disease? How long did it last? We may be looking at that with our DGD who is 5. :sad2:

Hopefully, maybe, they'll extend the Military salute, too, so I can compare that discount with our current price!

On a happy note, my foster daughter's adoption was finalized this morning; she's my official daughter now!

Congrats!! What special people to adopt and give a child a brighter future as well as the love of family! :cheer2::cheer2:

Ugh so this week for us has been crazy. Now my grandmother has been flown 3 hours from her house. She is in an active stroke. She already has an annureysm they have been monitoring. I may just have to cancel the trip, so I can get home. After this past week I may need a vacation sooner.

So sorry to hear about your grandmother. Saying a prayer for her..and you!

Okay, I have a couple of questions..

This will be our first time at the F&W, should I cancel our ADR for our Epcot day and just snack around the festival?

Also, we would like to do the chocolate sampler experience, I saw that it goes on sale to the GP on the 14th, how quickly do those sell out?

I feel like I am trying to stuff so much into this trip, I just don't know when I will be back and I want to do it all! Does this all sound like to much?

11/7 : arrive late at night, hit the hotel and get a good nights sleep
11/8: MK with dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern going to try to get the Wishes Dessert party this day as well
11/9: AK, early dinner at Chefs De France, MVMCP
11/10: Epcot, late lunch at Tutto Italia, W&D 1/2 Marathon this night
11/11: Epcot, Discovery of Chocolate, dinner at San Angel Inn
11/12: HS, mama melrose lunch with F! package
11/13: MK in the morning, breakfast at Crystal Place, then we leave at 6 pm

The only thing I would change would be going to Epcot on your AK day. Would you consider eating at Boma instead? It is in the AK lodge and is a wonderful buffet. Then you could just go to MK from there. I love Chefs de France, but that seems like a lot of traveling. If you're up for that, though, go for it! You can always take the monorail from Epcot to MK for the party. The rest of your itinerary look great to me!:thumbsup2

Good morning everyone! May the official freak out begin!

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Good morning!

With all the talk (and pics) of 1900 Park Fare, I'm thinking of booking an ADR if there is one available. Just DH and I, but I think he would get a kick out of trying to charm the steps!:rotfl: I should already know this, but is it 2 credits or 1?

I know this is going to sound crazy, but today is my laundry day and it got me to thinking...I only have 16 more laundry days until Disney!!!!! Okay, I'm reaching, but it sounds so much better than 117 days!:lmao::lmao:

Hope everyone has a great day!:goodvibes

It is 1 table credit.

99 days left. Happy dance.

I'm beginning to question not heading to a park on arrival day. We land @ MCO @ 10:30 and we'll be taking the ME to POR. Plan was to explore the resort and head to DTD for a bit and an ADR @ T-Rex @ 5. We have to leave the house at 4pm to get to the airport. Thought a down day would be good to recoup the kids but now I think we should start at a park. We'd have to add a day to our passes. Or we could use it as our waterpark day. What would you do? Kids will be 4 & 7.

We get in about 10 minutes after you and are also taking the ME. No kids, but we're probably just going to head to Epcot for dinner, but no rides just sightseeing and get an early night's sleep so we can get set to be up for rope drop each day. So I'm curious about suggestions as well. I would honestly stick close to your resort that day with a flight like that and maybe just poke around DTD. Maybe Disney Quest? Never been myself.

I'm really excited and nervous that I wanted to share this with you all. Yesterday I went ahead and booked our flights and hotel for our Surprise Christmas trip to Disneyland. :cheer2:Ever since carsland opened the kids have been asking to go and they even said that's all they want for Christmas. My plan is to surprise them on Christmas morning with a few gifts leading up to the big surprise and then we head to the airport for a 3pm flight.

I'm nervous because right now it's still a surprise for DH as well. I'm afraid if I tell him everything is booked he will not be able to hold in the excitement and go break the news to the kids. Our Nov DW trip was supposed to be a surprise but we ended up telling the kids.

I'm also nervous b/c we're going the week between Christmas and New Year which is the busiest time of year and we have never travelled anywhere on a holiday so I just hope we manage the park crowds.

But seeing the parks during Christmas will be awesome! I have so much to learn about DL as it's really very different from Disney world.

For the HFMD DD woke up from nap with a 102.5 temp that went up to 103.5. She had a fever for close to 3 days. After it broke shortly after she started to get the bumps on her hands, and mouth. She got a few in her mouth. To catch it, it's very similar to any virus. Just touching stuff. If it is the A6 strain which is really bad right now it is affecting adults badly also. I got it 3 days after her, and was in agonizing pain. If their are mouth sores you can use a mixture of maalox and Benadryl, makes a numbing cream for the mouth. Just swish it around. Not sure how much since I have a 2 year old. Good luck I hope we never get it again.

Hi everyone,

We have been busy potting training. I've been reading along but got behind. Everyone on here gives such good advice and has great ideas.

We will have a 1yr old, 2(almost 3yrold), and an 8yr old on the plane. I just always pack snacks, portable dvd player and movies and fun (quiet toys) My oldest flew to Ca from De when she was 9 months and did great. We have watched that Cailou episode with the plane a few times for my 2yr old and books about flying/airplanes are a great idea.

Congrats to everyone in double digits!!!!! We have 116!!!

Saying prayers for all in need.

My 8yro old and I are going to MVMCP on the 2nd and we are just eating quick service in the park when we get there (around 4:00).

Have a great day!!!!

Going to a park would be too much for my family. I would stick to a low key first day.

I laughed a little when I read this my will be 3 in sept DD is sitting on the little potty working on being a big girl as I type this message. She's about 90% trust worthy she still has accidents on a daily basis but ususally just one. And I can take her in public without a diaper she tells me she has to go and can make it to the potty. Yeay for a diaper free trip this time!!!!

I know the feeling. We are at 97 days, and only $650 left to pay off by the end of Sept. (Not bad since I had car repairs in July that took priority)

The 2 times we went previously, we did the parks the first day for a few hours (though during Xmas 2009 it was to see the CP with Edward James Olmos), and it worked out well both times. This time, we arrive before 11, plan to do DHS for a few hours, and then have a nice dinner at Artist Point

So apparently I lucked out when I booked an 8:45am Chef Mickey's last month. I thought I would be able to get an earlier time if I kept checking so far nothing. I also got a 2:15pm CRT, which I can see I was lucky to get also.

Im really happy with the ADRS I have but Im starting to second guess whether I want 2 epcot days or not. If we just went one day we would go to MK instead. So it would be 1 day at Epcot, DHS, AK each and 4 days at MK.
I have 2 days marked for Epcot because it will be the last 2 days of F&W and I really want to go. But with the new Fantasyland expansion is 3 MK days enough. We were at MK 3 days about 6 hours a day last trip and that wasnt enough.
My husband is no help his responce "what ever you think dear you know more then I do"
