well EVERY meal has changed location if no changed totally and all but 2 parks have changed dates :rotfl2:

I also have MK planned for the Friday with CRT ADR for 4:30, so I really don't want to change it. But kinda worried about the crowd level for this day. Anyone been there the Friday before taping?

I have been on the Friday taping. It was bad getting past Main Street. we went in during a lull in taping and we were allowed to walk on the sidewalks behind everyone that was sitting for the taping. It was a little awkward but we got thru it. I don't remember the park being bad at all. We spent most of the day there.

Nov 28 AK-lunch at Flame Tree, dinner?, Chip and Dale Singalong
Nov 29 MK-Kaeson's 1st Haircut @Harmony 11:30
Nov 30 Epcot
Dec 1 MK-BBB @ 12:30
Dec 2 HS
Dec 3 MK

As you can see I don't have anything planned but park days. We are doing QSDP so no ADRs. I can use all the help you can offer. :rotfl::scared1:

I just don't know what to tell you with this. I think Saturday will be the worse of the 2 taping days. You could you maybe get BBB on Dec.3rd?

I'm gonna have to look and see if I have kept a copy of my first schedules. But you know we both started planning these so long ago. This is the first trip I have booked 499 days out. :rotfl: That seems like forever ago.

I've kept very little from day 1 too.. I don't think I will be getting up at 3am again next time! :rotfl2:

I bet you will. :lmao:When Disney excitement sets in.....it has a mind of its own. :rotfl2:

I'm on 'Master Plan 4'...so everything has changed...quite a bit. I'm just so thankful I don't have adrs this trip. I don't think I've changed which park on which day this much before.

Now I'm second guessing my dates. We originally planned 25th-30th but changed to 28th-3rd. Maybe I should try to change it back...

What do y'all think about swapping Epcot and MK? But then I lose EMH at Epcot...and I think MK closes earlier on the 30th...I don't want to lose all my late hours because my kiddos will probably need a nap mid-afternoon and be ready to party all night.:sad2:

I don't know that I would move dates. Just see if you can change the 1st. And if you have hoppers you can always move around as you want to in the evenings.

OOPS! Sorry Smileybug! It's not the Friday we're going but the Thursday ;)
Have you been on the Thursday before taping? Or anyone been on the Thursday? We're at Epcot on the Friday, I obviously don't have my new schedule committed to memory yet! :lmao:

I have never been on the Thursday before. But EasyWDW has MK on that day as a go. :thumbsup2

I would like to say that we won't do this again. But, I know that we will. I'm good with one TS meal a day. But Hubby wants 2. So even when we have the regular dining plan we were doing one TS meal every day out of pocket. So for now the DxDP is a good value. But with the way prices are going up next year.....I'm not so sure.

Could you change it to AFTER the Harmony barbershop??? and do something else on Sat like a Water park or DTD??? OR another park?

I thought I would share this with my Disney loving friends on here. Only ya'll would understand. I was talking about Disney and my DH says "kids go get Mama some tylenol, I think she has Disney fever" Then my DD says " Mama are you going to plan out what we say to each other at Disney too?" So far my DD has been the only person who I thought was listening to me. I guess I even burnt her out on it. They are excited about the trip but could care less about all my planning.

That is so adorable!!! :lmao:I would tell her that you've only thought of subject topics for conversation that the actual conversation will be up to them.:rotfl2: I still have my DD3.5 on board, at least once a day she says, "Mommy, let's talk Disney.":goodvibes

I told my DH we are booking a bounce back offer and he thinks I'm CRAZY! This is our very first trip. And I'm ready to start planning the next one and the first one is still 4complete months away.

:woohoo:

Our first trip too and I already put money aside for the bounce back offer. I'll be so better at planning the next one, I didn't have the DIS when I started planning this one!:rotfl:

Even though this will be our 5th time going...I've never looked into a Bounceback offer! Is the offer generally the same discount you are then receiving, ie. if you are there during FD, is FD then offered for the bounce back? Any info would be great, kind of touched upon the subject with DH last night just to test the waters!! :rotfl2: He didn't cringe, so that's always a good sign!! haha :lmao:

Hi! Just decided today to go ahead and book a Free Dining trip for DD and me. DD will also bring a friend or 2- with FD, we can have 2 or 4 in the room, and the cost will be the same for us (each friend will be responsible for only her MYW ticket).

Right now, we are looking at All Star Music resort and QS dining plan. Trying to decide between 2 weeks:

Scenario 1-
*Leave for FL on Thurs, 11/1 after school. Check in to hotel at midnight.
*Miss 2 days of school- Fri, 11/2 and Mon, 11/5 (Tues, 11/6 is a teacher workday).
*Have 5 park days: Friday- Tuesday and leave after 1/2 day Tuesday. Home by bedtime and off to school Wednesday.

Scenario 2-
*Leave for FL on Thurs, 11/8 after school. Check into offsite hotel at midnight.
*Check into ASMu the next morning.
*Miss 2 days of school- Fri, 11/9 and Tues, 11/13 (Mon, 11/12 is the Veterans Day holiday).
*Have 5 park days: Friday-Tuesday and leave after 1/2 day Tueday. Home by bedtime and off to school Wednesday.

Scenario 1 would be less crowded, and there would still be Halloween decorations for the first day (but we aren't going to attend MNSSHP) But, there would be no Christmas activities going on. This plan would be more expensive, because we would be staying 5 nights at ASMu.

Scenario 2 would have Christmas stuff (although we are not going to MVMCP), but are the somewhat higher crowd levels worth it? We have been during Veterans Day week before and seen the holiday decorations. We would also save some $$ because we would spend the first night at an offsite hotel and use DH's hotel points to pay.

I am torn right now, but don't want to wait too long to book for fear availability will be gone. Opinions??

With the first option, it may cost a little more but you will also be getting more dining credits as your dining plan goes by number of nights. So if you need those meals anyway, the extra cost might not be so bad and you get lower crowds...

I agree do option 1~
