NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Thread~ Everybody is Welcome~Part 3 already!

Does anyone know of a place 2 watch a college football game? Preferably in Epcot or somewhere close! My DH &I are HUGE Alabama fans! ROLL TIDE! When we booked this trip we didn't even think about the BIG game on Nov 24th, which is Auburn (our long time, in state rival)! We NEED a place 2 watch or at least hear the big game! We may end up listening 2 it on our phones So if you see crazy people all decked out in our Alabama gear sporadically yelling ROLL TIDE, THAT'S US!

Could you watch it at ESPN Club at the boardwalk?

LOL!! Could you imagine? Alas however even I could never manage to eat that much. Although I do have about 4 must eat snacks planned each day ))!!

Messing with our ADR's again. Already changed our MVMCP dinner to 4:05 from 5:25 at LTT. We are planning on being at MK till it closes that night and realized we have a 8:45am at Chef Mickey's, we are staying at POFQ. Trying to decide if we should change to something else later in the day someplace else, switch CM to dinner. Any suggestions would be great. Our current ADR's are:
Nov.23 Tonys at 6:35p
Nov.24 CP at 10:15a
Nov.25 Teppen Edo at 6:10p
Nov.26 Tusker House at 8:15a
Nov.27 LTT 4:05p, MVMCP
Nov.28 ???????

I switched my day after MVMCP breakfast to a little later in the morning thanks to your post LOL I would just move the time a little bit. CM ressies are hard to come by! If you still wanted a breakfast, I would do one like at 930 or 10

I just found out that the Disney Magic Kingdom Christmas parade taping is going to be Thursday, November 29th and Friday, November 30th. I am a little concerned because we were going to attend the MVMCP on Friday, November 30th. I can change our plans, but I would rather not. Is the parade taping going to have any kind of affect on the MVMCP that night?

We ended up switching ours to a 1020 at Ohana's, still get characters for DS5 Some of the reviews for CM had me worried. This way we can sleep in a little and not feel so rushed to get up early.

Ah @#$(*$ we have MK and a reservation at CP that morning (the 29th). Now I have to move all my days around again

The Christmas parade taping STARTS on Thursday and the BIG days to avoid are Friday and Saturday... u all are gonna give me a heart attack! I had to go look! I am going to MK on that Thursday..... easywdw says it should be fine as they are just taping some of the music things

WHile I was looking, Test Track looks to be opening on Dec 1st..... they dont know if its on time or not!

On easywdw they reccommend AVOIDING Mk on Saturday because of the parade taping BUT the Thursday should be fine and Friday night should be fine

Glad to here Thurs and Fri will be fine. Thurs we are at DHS but Fri will prob. be MK as we leave on Sat.

I am hoping to jump on your bandwagon here!! Im trying to convince DH that we need a little get away to see the Christmas Decorations the week after Thanksgiving. What is everyone's thoughts on that week? I think we'd probably stay at the POP with Free dining (is anyone upgrading that?) or if I get super convincing, we've always wanted to try the Wilderness Lodge!! Love to do MVMCP as well!!

Any tips would be appreciated!!

I think the week after Thanksgiving would be perfect (except the taping of the Christmas parade of course). It starts to die down then.
I also think you should do the WL. The Christmas decoration there are BEAUTIFUL. It would be well woth it.

While reading all the ideas of things to do and see, I decided we should stay an extra day! Now we'll be staying November 23rd to the 29th! I know we'll be going to the Magic Kingdom on the 27th for MVMCP but haven't decided on the other days! I think I may be more excited than my daughter!
