ok I just read through ALL 9 PAGES!!! :faint: I have everyones name and will update the fron in a little while... phew! LOL

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good Morning Everyone! I am so glad I got things finalized yesterday, we decided to go with the F! package and try MM! We moved BOG to only CS but thats fine with me :) I cancelled all unneccessary ADR's and they are gone which means we are stuck... in a good way...with what we have :goodvibes
:)Glad you got everything just how you want it!
I had some very vivid dreams about my ADRs last night. My husband got home from work this morning I told him about my dreams, he had the never to call me a crazy women :rotfl:
So my dreams are telling me to change my ADR for Spirt of Aloha. My husband and I honeymooned in Hawaii. My 4 year old is a little nutty about going there so she can surf (cannt wait till she is big enough to do the surf school at Typhoon Lagoon) so I think the kids are going to love the show. I have it booked for our first day which is a sunday. But being at AoA I think we will want extra time to explore. Im going to switch it.
And I think I want to do a Fantasmic dinner package but not a Mama melrose.
:rotfl:At least you're with other crazies here! We're like a support group of enablers!:rotfl2:
I hurried to make my one ADR at Rainforest Cafe @ AK before FD was released. We have ressies for 9 people for a noon lunch (courtesy of MyPoints, lol ). Yay!
Now dh is teasing me with the possibility of a character dinner. His real estate business seems to FINALLY be picking up, and if things go well, he's suggested putting the money aside for the character dinner I'd love to attend, 1900 Park Fair. I've looked and there are still openings but I'd hate book and then not be able to go. That would be harder for me than there not being an opening, kwim? Another issue is that my parents, my sister, and sis's SO are traveling with us, and I don't want to force them into an expensive character meal that we'd be paying for OOP. Hmmmmm....?
I would definitely book it now if you might want to do it. I think it would be even more disappointing to decide that you want to do it and there be no ADRs left for you. As far as the others, see if they want to do it, too. If so, BOOK IT. If not, let them decide what they're going to do for that meal and do their own thing, and you BOOK IT for your family.:flower3:
Hi everyone I have a question! I am going solo and have everything booked including free dining :thumbsup2. Now a friend of mine wants to join me but wouldn't stay as long as I will. She'd stay in my room and would need tickets but how would that work? Could she say, stay 3 nights with dining or have I read somewhere that she would have to stay the same length of my package. That can't be right?
Sorry I'm all confused ::yes::!
All people in the room need to have the same dining plan for the same length of time.
I just called Disney again, and the Cm said that you can no longer get your park tickets early. They are now dated with your package and can not be use prior to you check in day.
I am not a happy camper atm.:furious:
The one time I asked (just a week or two ago) I was told I could not pick my tickets up early. Then here on the DIS, there is a CM who works at a ticket counter at Disney who said you can do that at any of the park entrances or DTD at customer relations. I no longer need to do this, but I sincerely hope everyone can still get their tickets early!:scared:
Hey, did FD come out today?????
Kidding heheeh....I'm a little late to the party but we also got FD. Had to upgrade as well from a garden view room to a water view at POR. I can live with that.
Congrats to others who have gotten FD today, and good luck to others who are still trying!
:lmao::lmao: Glad you joined us!
I have NEVER changed as many ADR’s as I have this year…please review and make suggestions! We always go to Epcot for our first day and try to end the week with our last day being at MK
Sat 11/24 Epcot - 4:45 Chef Mickey - MK
Sun 11/25 Rope Drop @ MK – O’Hana 11:15 DHS for Late EMH
Mon 11/26 DHS 2:05 Sci-Fi (milkshakes only ) MK Late EMH
Tues 11/27 AK then MK 4:30 BBB 5:35 Cindy’s Royal Table MCMCP
Wed 11/28 HS 4:00 50’s Prime Time (wait in line for Fantasmic) ?Epcot? change your F! ressie to the 26th then plan to go to MK all day change your CLP package to here.
Thurs 11/29Mk then Epcot 3:20 Garden Grill w/ 6:45 Candlelight Processional Package spend all day at MK here-we are! Low crowds!
Fri 11/30 AK then Epcot for Late EMH
Sat 12/1 MK (or IOA & US if Thanksgiving Day Parade is there)
I’m all over the place – feel like I’m not getting a “WHOLE” day at MK?!? BUT not sure what to do about it!
I also have H&V Fantasmic reservations for 11/26 but I really wanna try 50’s on 11/28 instead since it’s only a “3” that day I’m hoping the wait for Fantasmic won’t be too bad?!?!
We are going to DHS on the 26th :) I agree you are all over the place i will put my suggestions in red I think you are trying to do all EMH which is fine but after you have full park days it may be too much. Its tiring... maybe a DTD day?
I'm super excited to be staying at AoA LM room but I was slightly disappointed when I saw a pic of the outside of the LM buildings with exterior doors/walkways. I know it's not a big deal but was surprised after seeing all the other buildings. Does that seem odd to anyone else?
I just read that the reason for that is because when they were going to do the other century for Pop, they actually started the construction when economy forced them to abandon that project. When they decided to go to AoA theme instead of more Pop, they built the suites first, then used the shells of the old construction to do the standard rooms for LM. The buildings were already constructed for outside corridors.
Okay, but is there an extra person fee if I'm solo? I didn't think there was. She'd get tickets but only for a few days. If she comes she also wants us to move to Shades of Green but, that ain't gonna happen lol!
I was in total agreement with KERPLOP, but now you make a good point. I would call and just ask a CM to be sure. It may not cost any more, but the free dining might be a glitch. Let us know how it turns out.
Mommyof3pribcess27... I noticed in your suggestion to OP that you wrote about low crowd levels in MK on the 29th. Could you tell me where I can find that information, even though I have everything planned I'm curious to see! Thanks!!
If you go to youtube there are some videos of the LM buildings before they were incorperated into AoA.
did you type in specific times for lunch or dinner? Or did you say "dinner"
how big is your party because I put in CP for lunch on 11/5 and get tons of stuff
If the kids want to stay in DTD for our whole first day(we have an extra ticket if that happens) is it dumb to use our extra ticket to go to see the castle lit up at 6 when they close at 7? since we wouldnt be able to get a refund anyway
If your DD has a gluten allergy, I would schedule a meal at 1900 Park Faire and hope that Chef TJ is working. He's kind of got a cult following from those in the food allergy and vegetarian worlds. He will make your DD's meal OUT OF THIS WORLD. It's always a roll of the dice as to whether he's working or not the paraticular day you visit. We missed him during our last visit, but our first visit, he was working at 'Ohana and he made DS this dessert:
Here was DS's main dish:
Both were gluten, egg and nut free :goodvibes. Chef TJ is my hero:lovestruc.
As you can imagine, I was in tears by the time the dessert came out. My little boy who always has to bring his own cupcakes to birthday parties was getting the best dessert in the entire restaurant :sad::goodvibes:goodvibes. Anyhow, since 1900 Park Faire is a fun place to eat anyway, I would give it a try. You never know if chef TJ will be working!! --Katie
What does the red and green colors stand for? and what is the numbers indicate above them? I always wondered what everything meant
Here’s a quick explanation of how to read the calendar and what the numbers mean. It may seem like it’s a little long, but you’ll only need to read the explanation once.
■The first line in each box is the date.
■The second line shows the cost to book a room at a Disney-owned resort. $ = Value Season, $$ = Regular Season, $$$ = Summer Season, $$$$ = Peak Season, and $$$$$ = Holiday Season. Occasionally there will be a + or – after the $$$ to show that the cost is slightly higher or lower than usual, but not by enough to raise it another $ notch.
■The third line is the average high and low temperature and the chance of precipitation. All data is based on the last 15 years. I wouldn’t read too much into the precipitation percentages for each day because just one or two additional days of rain in the last 15 years can raise the percentage substantially. I included it so you can look at the precipitation trends throughout the month(s) and take it into consideration when deciding when to book your vacation. For a broader overview of the month, read the month-by-month overview I linked to above.
■The fourth line is an estimation of the overall crowd level. A “5″ refers to average crowds. Numbers above 5 refer to a larger than average overall crowd level and numbers below 5 refer to lower than average overall crowds. A day with an overall crowd level of “1″ means that the crowds are expected to be the absolute lowest of the year and a “10″ means crowds are expected to be at their largest of the year. In other words, the overall crowd level estimation will give you an idea of how many people are in the entire Disney World complex, including the four major theme parks, water parks, Downtown Disney, golf courses, resorts, etc. Individual theme parks can have smaller or larger crowds than the overall estimation, which is where the theme park recommendations come in.
■The fifth line shows the theme parks I recommend visiting in green and the theme parks I recommend avoiding in red. There is also a | sign that splits up the recommended and not recommended Parks for the color blind or those printing in black and white (the Parks to the left of the | sign are recommended). I use the usual abbreviations for the Parks; AK is the Animal Kingdom, EP is Epcot, HS is Hollywood Studios, and MK is the Magic Kingdom. In addition to the colors, the Park on the far left is the most recommended Park to visit that day. The Park second to the left is the second most recommended and so on. For example, if the line reads AK EP | HS MK then the Animal Kingdom is the most recommended and Epcot is the second most recommended. On the other side of the | sign, Hollywood Studios is not recommended and the Magic Kingdom is expressly not recommended even more. If possible, I would strongly recommend you visit the Park that is most recommended each day. Please read below the calendar for an overview of how I’ve selected the recommended Parks and also a day-by-day explanation.
■The sixth line lists which Parks have Extra Magic Hours and at what time they start. Morning Extra Magic Hour lasts one hour and usually starts at 8am. Evening Extra Magic Hours last three hours from the start time. For example, if you see AK:8am EP:9pm, that means the Animal Kingdom has a morning Extra Magic Hour from 8am-9am and Epcot has evening Extra Magic Hours from 9pm-12am.
■The seventh line lists the Fantasmic show times at the Hollywood Studios.
■The eighth line lists the start time of Main Street Electrical Parade (MSEP:) and Wishes Fireworks at Magic Kingdom(W:). For example, if you see, MSEP: 9pm & 11pm W: 10pm, it would mean that Main Street Electrical Parade begins at 9pm and 11pm and Wishes begins at 10pm.
