NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Thread~ Everybody is Welcome~Part 3 already!

Thanks!!! I'm pretty excited!!! It's my mom first trip and it's going to be amazing!

Oh wow! Yeah we are doing a big family trip in November (my aunt, uncle, cousin, and grandmother are coming with us) and my cousin has never been and the other haven't been in 10+ years. It's going to be a ton of fun!

I got it!!!!!!! FD for both portions of our trip!!!! Got DDP for our POR part Nov. 9-12 and free QSDP for our AoA part Nov. 12-18. Didn't have to move or change our room catagories at all. We've even decided to upgrade our QSDP to DDP for the 2nd part.

Just added free dining to our trip Nov 23 - Dec 1 at CBR. Saved $1050!!!

Added a night of room only for Nov. 22.

Really frustrated , Just got off the phone with Disney trying to get FD for my Nov 8th-17 trip.. because we are arriving on the 8th I needed to do a slit stay. Works out for the 9th -17th ill save 1100 ( I am paying to upgrade from value to deluxe dinning).

However if i want to go into a park on the 8th ill have to pay 90/ticket, if i want to keep my adr for ohana ill have to pay 200 oop and pay a room only rate of 265.

so 450+200+265+ taxes ... there goes my saving... sorry but i had to vent at someone

That's not right at all, you don't need to buy a one day ticket. Book a room only and yes you'll have to pay OOP for the one meal, but you can buy a ticket for however long you need with your package and then pick up your tickets up to 3 days early!

I just called Disney again, and the Cm said that you can no longer get your park tickets early. They are now dated with your package and can not be use prior to you check in day.

I am not a happy camper atm.

That's really cool! I can't to see everyones' faces when they see everything. My uncle hasn't been in like 20-25 years! It's going to be his first time like all over again.

Congratulations to all those who were able to book the "Free Dining" today. I know that for many it was a welcome addition and many have stressed over. I am very satisfied with my trip and all the ADR's I have in place. I have a spot for one more and that is for BOG on Thanksgiving. I would also love to book and ADR for Chef Mickey's for breakfast on the 15th but so far the only time avail is 7:10am and that is just way too early. I will keep trying though cuz you never know when something may open up.

Congrats to everyone that got FD today!!!

I was away on vacation for 5 days and had to catch up on almost 40 pages of this thread. I know I skipped a few but am mostly updated. I'm just thankful I already had the FD pin and didn't need to wake up at 7am today for it b/c we didn't get home till 2am last night.

Now we all have BOG ADR'S to wait patiently for.

Everyone is getting conflicting reports on this... I called a few days ago & was told yes you can pick them up early! I wish I knew for sure..

All changed, with the FD included.

we are at POP 11/7-11/9 and POR 11/9-11/13.

No more POFQ, which kind of bums me out, as its *my* resort.

We have never stayed at POP or POR. Tried for AoA, however, the only thing left was suites and that does not make any sense for us to do.

As far as the picking up the tickets early, I was told that we can do that, I hope that is the case or we lose 2 days at the parks, and I will not do that.

We changed from AoA LM to CBR to take advantage of free dining. Glad to have free dining but we're all a little disappointed we won't be staying @ AoA anymore.

Yep! I answered before catching up to the end of the thread. Having a hard time keeping up with this extremely busy thread.

But, I'm glad you got it! We love T-Rex and eat there as a first day DTD tradition almost every year. SO glad that this year, it's included in the dining plan.
