Has anyone's little one done the DHS Jedi Training? Thinking about working that into our DHS day.

This is probably old news to some, but they are offering free dining for the fall!!!

I called and got the FD however i have this weird feeling that the deal could be a little better the CM was not as helpful as those I've previously booked with. We are staying 6 nights, 4 day base tickets with hopper, at POR garden view royal rooms at 2521.- What do y'all think? LM of course are not included which we originally wanted for our Ariel obsessed girls so that's out. We are usually a deluxe dining and resort fam but are open to new things this trip... Could I work something better for the price???

I just realized today that we are only 133 days till we leave for Disney! So exciting!

I called this morning and was able to get the free dining added to our account, so now our trip is PIF and we have a REFUND! Our first night will be a room only reservation and then the next night we'll start the FD. So part of our refund will be to pay for dinner the first night. We'll still have leftover money, so I don't care.

I priced out a RGR GV for the 23-29th for 3ppl PH and 4 day tix upgraded to dxdp is $2600 and reg free dining is $2164

Those of you that have called T-Rex to make a reservation, what time did you make the call. I really want a reservation for Supper on 11/23 and nothing has been available on the WDW site. So, I'm going to try calling direct.

You have to call during the hours the restaurant is open I would think since you are calling direct. I called about a week ago during the evening 7-8pm and got a reservation for Friday, Nov. 30th at 6pm. Previously on the Disney site, the latest resv. I could get was 3:30. The number I called was 407-828-8739.

We were originally booked for two standard LM rooms at AoA, but those weren't covered under the free dining plan.

We have five people on the dining plan, almost $1K, so I thought we'd save money even going to two moderate rooms or a family suite, but no. Switched to a family suite at AoA and with the upgrade to dining plus, saved only about $30. Oh well, we didn't book planning on FD and having the suite is a bonus now vs. the two rooms.

Has anyone's little one done the DHS Jedi Training? Thinking about working that into our DHS day.

DS5 (then) did it last spring. He loved it, but I think he was slightly disappointed and lost because the new formatting has them split into two groups with one on stage and one off, and only a few kids got to take a swing at Darth Vader, or Darth Maul for the second group. It's nice that they all get to participate, instead of just a handful each day, but I think they could organize it differently so each kid can take a swing at both villains. If they haven't done it before, I'm not sure it wouldn't be better to let them watch one first. I wanted DS to be in the moment and I think he just ended up lost... But he had fun nonetheless.
