So I'm starting to second guess our decision to eat at Chef Mickeys for breakfast the morning we leave. Not sure if we should go to Ohana's or Cape May instead.only thing is DD2 hate eggs, but loves pancakes and waffles. I did find some earlier times for the other ressies :cool1:

To anyone who would set up a virus on the Disboards; Hope your next trip to WDW is during a heat wave, with a hurricane, followed by a cold spell. Hope your favorite attractions are being refurbished. Hope you get stuck in IASW for at least an hour. Hope you drop your Mickey Ears ice cream. Hope you get none of your dining ressies you hoped for. Hope your air fare is hundreds of dollars more than you budgeted for. Hope they run out of Dole Whips when you are next in line and you waited 45 minutes.
Hope you decide to use your computer skills for good, not evil!
Lastly, I hope you are there when none of us are!;)

That totally rocks!!! :cheer2: :rotfl2:

All right ...... who has been pricing out 2013 trips? :rotfl:

I have:lmao:

Does anyone prepare for Disney in unusual ways? I've got an appt a week before we go for waxing. I'm going to get my legs, armpits and bikini line done. Just so I don't have to bring a razor with me. This will be my first time for my legs and armpits. DH thinks I'm crazy.

DD and I usually go get a mani and pedi before we go. I want to go get a massage the day before we leave and well as a visit to the chiropractor. Planning to take a vacation day and leaving the hubby at work and DD at school so I can get the house clean and everything I want to get done. I will drop DD off at school, DH off at work, get my stuff done, pick DD up at school, load the car, pick DH up at work and head for hotel by the airport. Mani and pedi will have to be the night before....

Is it November yet?!! Can't do enough to keep me distracted. How are you guys getting through the days?

That is what DIS is for.....that and we will start going back to cedar point on the weekends....lol

There are thousands of people who go there every day and don't even know where they are going!:lmao: I've never been there but I am AMAZED at the stuff people tell me about their trips, all I can think is "Didn't you read a book or look at a website before you went?" I always research every destination I travel to, I'm just so excited that I finally found a destination that has the wealth of information out there that WDW does!!!:goodvibes

My mother-in-law paid for our first trip, however I had to book it. I used a TA because I didn't know any better. I did however start researching once I had the trip booked and I am so glad I did. We went for Christmas. I had ADRs and everything planned. The only thing I couldn't do is make them realize you need to be at rope drop during that time of year. We finally left them and wow we got alot done. (made mother-in-law made but DD was happy)

I don't like going anywhere without researching to know what I am getting into.

I am. Originally I had it on my AK day but I didn't want to worry about rushing back. This way I'll be at MK in the am and then back to the Poly for an afternoon break and then back to MK for the party. My only problem is I have a 7pm ADR at CRT, and I've been trying to move it earlier, like 5pm. Like I said I thought it was going to be an AK day so I made a late ADR and now I just keep checking for an earlier. I'm thinking if BOG opens, I may drop CRT for BOG earlier there. (I have a CRT breakfast that I'm keeping, so I'm not overly worried about giving it up, just thought we'd like to try breakfast and dinner in the castle :))

What about you? What are you doing on your MVMCP day?

Lucky you have CRT for breakfast I at first didn't want to eat back at castle I had dinner there last year and didn't care for it, I have CRT book for breakfast but need two more guest added on :(, I am trying to choose when to attend the party on the 25 r 27 if I would do the 25 I would just spend all day at mk and the the following day day do ak then eat at cape may and head back to mk around 6:30 their are emh that day to 11 or attend Xmas party on the 27, after animal kingdom well after my cape may adr at 5 head back for Xmas party, it so confusing! And I'm deff been beating myself up about not booking CRT at my 189 day mark I book Epcot instead, but now I'm thinking I don't want to head to epcot, we do it every year and it's not really for My two kiddies
,
Your CRT castle dinner adr will be missing the party so you should try to change the time

Our MVMCP day is our AK day too... hope we arent too tired!!! OUr schedule is pretty packed so I am hoping all the ADR's that we have is a good rest w/o coming back to the resort. I DO need to fit in a resort pool day/time but dont know where!!!!

You sound a lot like me!! Lol I'm trying to fit pool time/resort the first day we check in, since our backyard BBQ isn't until 6:30 we got time, I was thinking to add another day we are doing 4 nights 5 days and drivin there from Chicago, but adding another day is hard plus with my two little ones it's a lot of running around, I'm just so glad, we're going when it's not 110!! Lol we usually go in the summer, and it's so difficult to walk in the heat all day

I'm thinking she meant that it would still be $212 cheaper after she bought the dining plan. But I would still vote for Option One, unless you're really dedicated to park hopping? Otherwise I would say that for $200 an extra day is still an extra day and what could be better than that?:goodvibes

That's what I meant, buy the dining plan. I priced out booking my resort adding an extra day with 2 day tickets and then adding dining & Military tickets and it's $600 more than my current cost. I would totally do it, but I'm already at my spending limit.
Thank you!

Is anyone doing Xmas party on their full days of mk or going another night ?

We're doing MNSSHP and MVMCP at the end of MK days, but we do have 3 TS meals planned on both days, so we're not going full-out before the parties.

I guess I should have said for anyone who KNOWINGLY sets up a virus!
Just wanted to have a little laugh. Sure hope your computer gets fixed quickly and inexpensively, too. Would pixie dust help with that? Let's try...pixiedust:

Oh, I was just wondering but that was seriously funny!!! I enjoyed it!!:lmao:

Value - AoA LM room, same dates, standard room, same tickets no discount, free dining would be $1424. With 20% discount it would be $1139. Paying $667 for dining would make it $1806.

Remember, though, that AoA-LM is excluded from FD under the current offer. The price should be similar to the calculations at Pop or the All-Stars, for example, though. I only point this out because we're stuck choosing between AoA-LM and FD, so the cost is higher if we keep AoA-LM and comes out basically even if we upgrade to Moderate. And that is with 1 adult and 1 child. If your family is larger but still only needs a standard room, FD becomes a better bargain than it is for two people, especially when one is a kid. The per-person cost for a smaller family is just plain higher. No getting around it.

Yeah, I can't remember my though process at the time, I don't think I had my MVMCP date picked yet when I made the ADR, or if I did I didn't realize how involved the party was and how much I would be missing. So I keep looking for a better time. Any day now a 430 dinner will open right up, like magic!pixiedust:

And you just need to keep checking for your ADR's as well, something can still open up, 45 days out cancellations, BOG opening, just plain luck! :cheer2:

But this is for Dec 2013, I'm thinking maybe the newness of AoA-LM will be over by then & so will its exclusion. We shall see... I'm really hoping for the room discount anyway, I'm falling in love with WL...:goodvibes

Aw the joys of vacation planning :rotfl:

Shortly after we wake up tomorrow we will be instant parents to a 16 year old girl from Azerbaijan for the next year  then I will have someone to plan with :yay: I can't wait for her to tell us about her long flights. She has never flown before, and she asked us tons of questions.

Yes, I figured that by the end of next year it should be included in free dining. Hope so anyway. :goodvibes

How exciting! And how wonderful of you to open your home to an exchange student (once again). I'm not familiar with Azerbaijan so I googled it. Very interesting. I assume the girl speaks English. Maybe she can teach you some of her native language while she's there....how to say "I have to change my ADRs again!":lmao:

She speaks several languages. Her English is very good. Better than most Americans sadly. She is fluent in Azeri, Russian, English, and German. I am so excited to learn some Russian! I am already fluent in German, so we can annoy my DH. Our DD is also Doing very well with German. Yes, I just changed an ADR...lol.. I think I am done. It will be a learning experience with her being Muslim and I Jewish. Her family doesn't practice, and I would never make her go to temple unless she asked us. I'm glad our DD will grow up with an open mind towards other cultures.

Some notes while reading....
Chef Mickey breakfast on your last day sounds perfect! I would keep it:)

Exchange student- I think thats wonderful for you to open your home and hearts to someone

WDW 2013 might be out for us as we have a beach and a cruise trip to pay for :faint: hope everything falls into place though
