These are my favorite flops. Word to the wise they are very slippery when the get wet. I have fallen twice in them because of this. Once at Macys and once at Kroger. Just be careful in them. :thumbsup2

That's interesting because all of the hotels in Vegas have slippery floors and I never so much as lost a step once. Hmmmm.. I can imagine if the floor is wet, I'd be a goner, but I'm serious if I tell you I wear them everywhere I go (grocery store, shopping in malls, walks in parks, etc., etc.) and I have never slipped once. Odd!!

I wonder if my new pair will be more prone to slipping since they probably have a nice smooth bottom. My other ones, I wore to Disney the first time I put them on and you know how the ground is all concrete... and probably took the smoothness away.

As for size, I wear an 8 1/2 usually, but in a flip flop I like to have a little extra room in the back, so I go a half size up. In these, the 9 is perfect for me.

Erin, since you bought them through Kohl's, you should be able to switch out the size if it's not what you want. I am buying my daughter a pair for the trip (but, wanna wait till closer to the trip) and wish I could get all of my boys some too! LOL

I added at day at our Disney hotel and took away one from Universal. It's costing me $20 more, but I get an extra day of free dining...so I think I'm coming out ahead.

That's a great point....as we're doing Universal too but my DH loves loves loves Universal and is really NOT a disney lover like us so I really didn't have the heart to take away a disney day so this is why I added an extra day at the start of trip instead of end of trip. We're only doing 3 days at Universal anyway so its not too big a deal.

I keep thinking about Universal. And I thought I had tamed that beast. But ya'll had to bring it up again. :rotfl:

Well now thinking about Universal........:rotfl2:
What could you do with a day? And how much of a pain is it to get there from Disney? (Yes, we will have our SUV)

Can't wait to make my CLP ressies tomorrow morning - and it doesn't sound like I will have much competition since my girls want to eat at Garden Grill!! For whatever reason, after 3 years of trying different character meals Chip & Dale and the rotating restaurants is ALWAYS their top pick!

Good luck everyone - hope you get the reservation you want!

We spent one day at just IOA - we had plenty of time to hit all of Harry Potter in high crowds, do some shopping and have lunch at the three broomsticks, and then move on to anything else we chose... truth be told we found the majority to either be too young or too intense for us so we actually headed out around 2pm after wandering and riding the Hulk, lol!

Thank you for sharing this. I'm seriously doubting that we go this time around. :goodvibes

GG does look good. :thumbsup2

I don't know why.... But I am actually nervous about going after the CLP reservation tomorrow.

I was too when we went for it in 2010! I was on hold a loooong time (after it took me 20 minutes to even get into the queue!) but ultimately got what we wanted - I think it helped that we had gotten our harder to get reservations on other days and went for a less popular place. At the time they did not release them until August though - releasing them this early should help!

The other thing that I am waiting on is BOG ADRs to open. Once that is done this trip will be complete. :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh, I am too!! I just hope it won't be too bad trying to get through. I am going to try online at 6am and if I can't I guess there's no choice but to call right at 7am! Do we call disney dining or central reservations?? Good luck everyone- will be saying my prayers tonight!!

I am trying to see if I should cancel HDDR or not, do CLP or not , cancel Le Cellier or not(probably not) and fit CM in there somewhere LOL

It sounds like your family has prety much put this trip in your hands. And as much time as you have put into this......Don't forget to do somethings that YOU really want. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes
