So I decided to change from POR to AoA. I know my kids will love the atmosphere and after seeing all the pictures and videos this week, I was excited about it too. I called today to make the change, but my discount for FD can't be used at AoA. I remember the original CM who applied the discount said it could only be used for moderate and deluxe, but since everyone else who had PINs was able to book at AoA, I decided to give it a shot. No go! I couldn't use my PIN at a value. Oh well, I am thankful I have FD and will get to experience POR. That doesn't mean I won't try to switch to AoA if a FD is released to the general public!

We are staying at AoA with the FD pin but had to upgrade from the quick service to reg.

Its my DH's cousins kids. The 'grandmother' in the link is DH's aunt. DH actually lived with them before we started dating.

Thanks everyone.... it is sad but what really gets me is FACEBOOK! Everyone is posting it because its the 'big event' that happened in our area and its crazy. Anyway enough sad stuff..... back to Disney planning! Anyone plan anything or do anything today? I went to Michaels and got the squeeze bottles for my tie-dye shirts and I got stuff to make hair bows for the girls. Now I just need some inspiration! I know I want to make a Animal Kingdom shirt but I also want to make one more. The TD mickey heads will be for our arrival day and then AK shirts for AK day..... I also got WTP ribbon to make pooh bows for DD4 Now I need to learn how to make them but how hard can they be, right?!?!

I know I posted this on FB but the big planning thing I did today was to purchase park hoppers from Undercover Tourist for DH and the kids before the price increase. I was so excited to be purchasing them! I have to get my TA ticket still.

We had our first themed dinner night tonight. There are 25 weekends until our trip so we'll do 25 Disney movies Tonight was Finding Nemo. We decorated the kitchen and table with sea shells, fish cut outs and jelly fish. Dinner was Pearls octodogs., Jacques steamed shrimp, anemone Mac & cheese, Dory's clams, Nemo crackers (goldfish),Crush's ocean water to drink and fish bowls (blue jello with gummy fish) for dessert. We were supposed to watch the movie but everyones off doing their own thing.
Next weeks theme will be Peter Pan
If anyones interested there's a huge thread on the family board with ideas.

That sounds so fun! I love that thread. So far we have done Lion King and Peter Pan. Up next is Beauty and the Beast but I'm not sure what day we are going to do it. DH works from 6pm-6am with a 45 minute commute each way and only has off every other weekend so the family part of family movie night gets difficult.

ETA: That reminds me we did Lady and the Tramp as well but it was just DS3 and I because DH was working and DD15 had much more important things to do
