NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Part 2~yes there IS another!

Everything went through for me except LeCellier. But I was expecting that. And when I hopefully book LeCellier it will be with a CP package.

I really wanted to do Le Cellier for the CP Pkg to but that means either doing the 5:00pm or 6:45pm show since only lunch is offered (11:30-3:30), so I think we will try for Tutto dinner so We can go to the 8:15pm show. Will have to do Le Cellier for dinner some other night.

I can not thank this thread enough for mentioning calling to find out about pins. I am just over the moon right now. We are booked Nov 28- Dec 4 in a Royal Room at Port Orleans Riverside with free dining and I am just beside myself.
I guess I need to put up a ticker.

When I called, I gave them my last name and they found the room discount under my husband's name. Then they had one for my sister who came with us last time. And then I asked them to check for my parents.

And I can call in 3 days for dining reservations.

I been playing around all morning with various options even upgrading to CL and dropping the DP totally, just paying OOP like we always use to. March was the first time ever that we used the DP but DH says he does not want to be tied down so he may find he has to survive on CL offerings & BW Pizza this trip

I am so pissed at Disney right now for giving me all this grief over FD and DH wanting to eat here and there but doesn't like having to make ADRs. It was so nice before the DP and you could get same day and walk ups

Quick questions:

I see you got T-Rex, too. Did you have to call them directly, too? I found it to be weird. No Confirmation attached to my reservations... she just said my name was my confirmation #. Does that seem odd?

Flights I have booked my flights before I had a room since prices were right. $110 ($99+ tax) each way.

Good luck with your flights, I wanted to go a few days earlier but prices were crazy high for the early morning that we like.

Flights I have booked my flights before I had a room since prices were right. $110 ($99+ tax) each way.

Good luck with your flights, I wanted to go a few days earlier but prices were crazy high for the early morning that we like.

I have a feeling since its Thanksgiving weekend itll be pricey going down but hopefully not so much coming home

I had CL in 2010 and while it was so nice for breakfast, we thought we were wasting time coming back during the day. The desserts were nice at night though. Walk ups the same day would be wonderful but I know thats not going to happen. We were at TH in Dec(me and DH) and we were waiting to be seated. There were 4 diff families that walked up to try to eat there and the CM's basically told them(in a nice way) that they are crazy if they think they will get something by walking up. The one man was maaaad! He said so we had to make ADR's? Thats not right Should have done research sir!

I have 1 more day to wait before I can make my very few ADRs. We'll be eating more QS meals this time round. Experienced the regular DP in 09. WAY too much food for us!

Me too! I make mine tomorrow, and I'm only doing 4 reservations this time. Got a 30% pin, so that worked better for us than FD. So this time we're gonna do a more leasurely, whatever, whenever dining trip. Can't wait!

I got T-Rex for lunch and I have a confirmation #. I just went through the Disney online Dining.

We always take a break after lunch. In 2009 we went at the height of Spring Break only ADR we had was for HDDR. We had not been there since 1997 when you could still do walk ups. Boy did we have a hard time finding places to eat. Even when I went in 2006 with a friend for just the weekend we did walk up at Coral Reef for dinner. it's insane now.

Seems that it is rumored that the resturant will be open by Oct. 31st. With ADR windows opening up soon. Better make sure your list is ready for when you want to try for it.

I already know that Im getting rid of Teppan Edo and switching to MK for that evening to do BOG...I might even catch the MSEP! OR if its not available for that night, I will do our MVMCP night Oh yes...I will get it
