Hi everyone! Mind if I join in on the fun?!! We are planning on going to Disney November 13-18. Can't wait to be back!! Now I am trying to decide where to stay. Thinking of trying Port Orleans this trip but not if we want to stay at French Quarter or Riverside......decisions, decisions!! Here's hoping for Free Dining!!

Welcome to the party. We will be at POR Nov 9- 18 . I want FD also. I was hoping the deal they dropped today would include Nov so I could stop the madness of searching all the time.

I got my email offer today! It also stated that you must stay 5 nights, and purchase 6 day park tickets. It will be released to the general public on March 5th.

Hopefully, they will release free dining for us in May.

Welcome! I love POR. Riverside I've stayed at POR French Quarter too. FQ is great if you want something a little more secluded and intimate, since it isn't as spread out or as big. The pool at both are fabulous, plus the food courts. FQ has amazing beignets. I've actually made a trip over there just to eat those. I really just love the feel of Riverside- AB side though- it is just relaxing and my favorite moderate!

Hello all. We are still thinking of going down at Thanksgiving time and I had a question about the application of pins. Please tell me if I'm right or wrong on my logic...If I have free dining and my package starts on the last day of free dining the free dining applies to the whole trip. Contrary to that, if I have a percentage off for the room that expires the first day of the package the discount only applies to that one day right? Obviously I'm hoping I'm so lucky as to have to make a decision on what code to use. I just probably jinxed myself!

We will be at POFQ 11/9-11/15..stayed at Riverside before and liked it, but we only had 4 adults on that trip..this trip we will have 3 grandsons and wanted to stay where the walks to the pool, food and buses were kept to a minimum...Riverside was a bit more spread out. Haven't stayed at the French Quarter before..looking forward to it.

Free Dining will eventually show up for us I'm sure (I hope..I think)..but the wait is a killer.

has anyone eaten at CRT for breakfast? Trying to figure out ADRs and not sure if it is worth the 2 table credits or not.. Are there any other character meals that have the princesses?

My boss approved the extra time off!! So it looks like we are drinving down. I believe we will be at WL from 11/6-11/16.

Does anybody know what the current bounce back offer is, and can you get a bounce back if you are staying at the Fort Wilderness Campground? We are going for a quickie trip in May, but are planning a longer trip with our mothers in November. I'm hoping that I can either book for November in May with a free dining bounceback, or that the fall free dining will be extended like in years past. Once we make plans it makes me antsy to wait to book. I might have to go ahead and book now, then just call to change plans if a good deal comes along.

Take a look at Akershus (princesses with Belle as the headliner) in Epcot and 1900 Park Fare in Grand Floridian (at dinner it's Cinderella and family).

I just called to try and book my 4 rooms without any discount at pop century for mid Nov and the CM says she can only book 3 rooms. Says that her computer is showing no availability for my week for the entire resort except for these 3 rooms.

I guess I'll be calling back since I find that hard to believe. I told her I'd call back in 2 hours and see what the next person I talk to has to say.

She also said that there has not been any free dining in Nov for the last 3 years.

I did call right back and after being on hold for 15 mins I got the most knowledgeable CM I have ever spoke to. He was awesome and very curious as the entire ressie took over 30 mins.

Rooms were aplenty. He suggested that the last CM might have entered the wrong date like 2013. I booked 4 preferred pop rooms together.

He also said there was a pin attached to my name but could not tell me what it was for because it was not officially released yet. He explained that sometimes they don't get the details because Disney doesn't want them discussed with the customer early. He said I should check back in a few weeks.

Well, I got a 10% pin off the hotel, and this time I was told it could be used with the package, so I took it. It knock $300 off the hotel, so I figured I can always change to FD or a better pin should one become available!

And a bit of warning for those wanting to call tomorrow. I was told they have been swamped with the Visa FD offer, and expect tomorrow to be a lot worse with the amount of people calling in, so hold times might be real long
