Hi everyone! Well, today was my first full day back at work. Can I just say that I didn't like it one bit? I actually had to work, and it really got in the way of my DIS-ing!!

And the drive home... crazy nut jobs on the road!

I don't want to go back!

Seriously though, I did ok.
Someone asked about crowd levels and calendars/schedules. Disney releases park hours approximately six months in advance... right around the time to make ADRs. It's best to have a general idea of the ADRs you want and on what day, then make minor changes once the park hours are released. As for projected crowd levels, easywdw probably won't publish theirs until the park hours are released. Touringplans.com has theirs published, but it is a paid site. You can google a discount code, and it's very reasonable, and so worth it. Several of us use them. I think you'll find it worth the money, and if not, I think they have a money back guarantee. Just be aware the touringplans will probably make some minor changes to their calendars once Disney releases theirs.
EXWDWCM - I lived in Las Colinas in 2001/2002. I worked in Las Colinas too so all I had to do was take a 5 minute drive down MacAuthur, and I was at work. Oh, how I miss DFW! I think I can remember enough of the surface roads to get me around. What I can't remember GPS will have to handle.
We should arrive at Love Field by 11am, and I think we will grab lunch, go to the Sam Moon, then head straight to the American Girl store. I'm sure we will spend all afternoon there, and I'll probably make dinner reservations at their bistro. I'm not sure how the food will be, but DD will love it just because it is AG. I'm sure I'll survive.

I'm thinking I'll find a hotel in the Grapevine area, and hit the mall the next day. I'll be sure to get a hotel with a pool so when my wallet is exhausted, we can go back to the hotel to swim and relax. We'll find somewhere fun for dinner. Oh... or the Blue Goose. Oh, how I used to love that place... at least I think that was name. Then the next day, we'll head home. What's a good place for breakfast on a Saturday morning? I don't think I was ever up early enough for breakfast on a weekend back in those days.

I know I keep saying it, but thank you so much for all your help. I talked to my DFW friends the other day and the next mentioned 635!
Smileybug - I think I would plan buffets or family style restaurants like O'hana's for that big of a group. No way I want to deal with orders! It sounds like your group is going to have a great time. I don't think DH and I have that many family members combined. Each year we have a combined family Christmas with his family and mine are a total of 11, including DBIL's girlfriend and our dog!!

I'm an only child and only grandchild. My kids are the only grandchildren on both sides.
Mommyof3princesses - Been missing you lately!!
AND A BIG WELCOME to all the newbies!!!
