Good Morning! Congrats to those who have gotten pins. I'm going to try going back and deleting my saved offers and adding more. So far, nothing I've tried has worked.

We love PP too. Really got some great pictures. My girls are getting older, so I'm worried that things won't be as magical to them this trip. I love having the pictures of when they were little and amazed by the characters!

I think this year may be my last year for DD to be enchanted by the characters. I loved the way she would just run up and hug the characters last time. It was just pure joy.

OK I'm convinced I'll prepay and save $ on photo pass thank you all for the info. I'll just work it into the budget. Do they take photos at the character meals as well?

Good Morning! No PIN for me on ANY email! Oh well. I tried Well we took our tax money paid my truck off, bought windows and paid a cc(this morning)off...wouldnt you know it about an hour after we dropped that check in the mail, our heat pump took a $h**!!! GRRRR I am so mad! The only spare money we have now is the flight money so back on the cc it goes(0% til 2013) so not too bad but still stinks!

Oh NO! That sucks!

Anyway forgot to mention, I was on TP yesterday and set up a little crowd tracker for myself and it said some parks I had picked arent the worst but not the best. Do you switch them around based on what TP says or you just wing it? I think there is 2 I might switch around.

Yes, I move stuff around until all my ADRs are made. After that, I only move things if I can get new ADRs when I want them.

On the Fastpass news.....Not good news for us.

We are that small percentage that do use FP often after the window. In fact, most mornings we arrive at RD and immediately head to Peter Pan for a FP, we might ride it then too, then hit Dumbo and Pooh, by then, time for another FP, we grab another. By noon, we usually have like 3-4 Fastpasses in hand. We use them before heading out of the park for a break. We usually park hop to a different park at night, so we usually use teh FP just hours after the window, but i have been known to really use it a lot later. I was in Anaheim on business in November, and I headed over to DL in the morning, i got a FP for Space Mtn at like 8am, it was for return of like 8:45am. I rode some rides and left the park by 10:45am. I still had that FP, plus one for BTMRR and HM. I went to meetings all day, came back to the park after 5. Good thing i had those 3 FP, the park was a madhouse (Saturday). I used that 8:45am window fastpass at 8pm at night instead. No questions asked. So it sucks you can't do that any longer, but i also understand that wasnt' the intent of the system and that is everyone did that, the system would break down. So while I don't like it, I understand.

I am wondering if this means they are preparing for the possible rumored xpass stuff though at some point.

From what I've read that's what I'm understanding. Disney wants to "fix" anything that might cause issues later down the line, and I guess this is one of those issues.

Someone tell me about Vinylmation. Are my kids going to go nuts over it? Do you build your own figurines or just buy pre-made ones. I don't quite get it.

I agree with you. I almost always go room only and buy my tickets from undercover tourist. My spreadsheets tell me this is the least expensive way to go for our family. : )

I just want to say that I'm so sorry about your heat pump! We have a home warranty, which has saved my vacation fund more than once. I hope you're able to find a way to pay for your heat pump AND your Disney trip!

I'm sorry this happened to you. Ours went out last year. Not a fun thing to have to spend money on.

Undercovertourist dot com is a site that sells discounted park tickets. They are an authorized dealer, and probably the only other place besides Disney I would purchase tickets. They are a few dollars cheaper, depending on what ticket you purchase.

We cant cancel Disney as my parents are paying for DD13 and its for her birthday so we just have to cut corners everywhere else which I am prepared to do JUST to make it there. This will be our last year going for a while I think. 2 of the 3 kids will be disney adults soon and it gets pricey after that.

I just booked our trip yesterday for Nov22-30. I called and reserved and she said I had a PIN code attached to my name. When I asked what kind she just said that it gave me a discount on our room. She wouldn't say exactly what kind of discount but it ended up saving me about $500ish dollars. During Thanksgiving week when I thought PINs were blacked out.

We were booking regardless but it really made my day that I got that discount.

You all should call and see if you have a PIN attached to your name. If I hadn't called I wouldn't have known!

That's great! $500 is a good savings!! I called last week and didn't have anything. I guess I'll call back next week.

I finished DD and DS's Epcot passports yesterday. They turned out really cute. DH took them to work today to bind them for me. I'm hoping to finish up their autograph books this weekend so DH can bind those for me on Monday.

I've only got one more week off til I return to work. The recovery process has NOT been fun, but I have enjoyed being home. I've enjoyed my Disney planning time.

So sorry- sounds like you got it figured out, but so sorry you had to deal with that!

I swear I hate Februrary- all the bills are due then- Insurance premium due, HOA, our DVC annual dues, had to buy new tires for the car etc. I swear they come in 3's!
