Oh yeah, so excited, I went to Costco yesterday and they were selling the 2012 Passporter. So excited that I was able to pick it up for $17.00

Oooh! I need to go to Costco. I'd love to try the Passporter this year.

Ours came in snail mail today - and of course we had already booked our trip. But our travel agent is awesome and with AAA, so she called and got Disney to give us the discount. Just 20% off the room but every bit helps.

Now we shall see if free dining gets offered later.....I need every discount I can get!

And a ticker....hmmmmm.

So if free dining is offered, see which saves the most money because you cant use both...wich you could though lol

big planning step done.. we finally decided on CBR and the pirate rooms now hoping for the FD pin

Have started making a list of all the things I want to make for the kiddos before we go to make it an extra special trip..my husband just laughs
* travel bags for the car
*shoulder bag for the parks
* autograph book
* welcome baskets for the kiddos
* outfits for both of them
* travel journals
* and the list goes on and on ..lol

So my mom tells me they have enough money to pay off their trip AND buy the MVCP tix for my DD and my grandparents so atleast thats a little something I dont have to pay....wish my trip was paid off! Cant complain though they are paying for DD12~DxDP and all

happyMom: DIscounts can not be combined...if you opt for free dining you have to go back and pay the rack rate and buy park tickets up front (minimum one day ticket)...we just went through this as we had a 30% room only discount for a two night stay, then found out we had a FD pin, so added the third night and free dining and downgraded from a deluxe to mod...same price in total, and getting much more. You will have to calculate if it is worth it to you giving up your room discount..

I always book through Disney. I like having complete control over our trip. And thanks to everyone on the Dis I have never missed out on any discounts.

Thanks. I was thinking that was the case, but I wanted to be sure. We are not members of AAA, but I would be willing to join if it would help us save some money.

I was wondering the same thing. My only issue would be if you book through someone and they have to make your ADRs. I won't to have complete control over my ADRs. I'd probably drive a TA crazy with all the changes I make.

Thought I had my ADR list complete, then I thought of something else. I was going to do the Fantasmic! package so I'd have reserved seating, but I don't know if it's worth 2 dining credits, particularly during a slow time in Nov. Any thoughts?

I bought a pattern to make a hipster for myself, but I haven't been brave enough to start. I'm going to the store tomorrow to pick out some fabric. I'm not a very talented sewer. I have trouble sewing a straight line so this should be interesting!!

For the kids, I think I am going to purchase some plain sling backpacks for the kids goodie bag, but I'm not sure what do to for parks.
