Last week I was tired of waiting for a Nov discount so went over to Disney site and played around with some trip itineraries. I saved them and today I got a pin via snail mail for Nov - 30% off room only, Sun - Thurs. Dates are 11/1 - 11/19 and 11/24 - 11/30. I have to book by end of Feb.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Nov codes are out there. :wizard:
woo hoo- yeah for you! That's awesome news.

Anyone know when the MNSSHP/MVMCP dates will be announced? I was thinking they came out last year late April early May. Also my DS just turned 3 and measures 41". I can't amagine putting him on ToT, BTMRR, SplM :scared1: even though he is technically tall enough to ride, am I being overprotective?
Usually tickets go on sale May 1 for both parties and official dates can be announced slightly earlier- I think some leaked on some sites in very late March/April. But looking at historical dates, many on DIS fan sites have guessed that Nov 7th will be the first MVMCP and they will run on the same days of the week. So for November, you are probably looking at:
November 7, 9, 11, 13, 16, 25, 27, 28, 30
It looks like they skipped Thanksgiving week obviously since they have later hours that week to accomodate the crowds. So no parties November 17-24th.

My DS went at 3, literally just turned 3. He was 40", but I didn't feel comfortable putting him on some stuff. I did finally put him on ToT this year, he had just turned 4. He was scared on the drops themselves, but he rode it a second time later, so he couldn't have been too scared! He rode BTMRR and loved it and same with Splash. It all just depends on the kid. He rode BTMRR and Splash at 3. He was fine on both, a little scared about the big drop, but loved it. Really only you know how your child will react. I definitely didn't want to force him on anything. I tried to show him youtube ride videos first so he knew what to expect. He had watched ToT and wanted to see the ghosts (he is obsessed with ghosts, we rode HM like 7x). :rotfl: My son is sort of a thrill seeker, he doesn't scare easy, so I figured he would be fine on most. We also did Dinosaur and he liked it.

I'm feeling good about my chances of getting the free dining or a similar offer for our Nov. 24-30 stay. They've had it the past 3 years, we get Pin codes (or my in-laws, who happen to be coming this time) every two months at least. They are already offering it to Canadians (sorry, have to spout here... we live in the Northeast, and the trip is just as far for us as it is for many Canadians!!!, sorry, I digress).

The only question now is do we do two rooms at POR or one at AoA. Pricing it out without FREE dining, it would actually be a bit cheaper to do 2 rooms at POR.
I would do two rooms myself. I prefer a little more privacy! and I love POR! We did 4 adults and one child (3) one year in POR. It was me, my sister in one bed, then my other sis and her DH in the other. Then their 3yo on the trundle. It was crowded when it came to moving around and storing luggage, so keep that mind. There was NO privacy!!!

so excited i just signed up for the ChaseFreedom and will get $200 after spending $500 in the first 3 months of use :) That will pay for my extra night!! :woohoo:
awesome! :wizard:

I was recently playing around in the official website for NOV.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Those dates work for me!!

Oh, that's awesome! Congrats to you! Count me among the jealous.:3dglasses
Same here, but my pin was for 20%. And it came the day AFTER I rented DVC points and booked BCV. :confused3 & :yay:

But just think how nice BCV will be!:cutie:

So in hopes of getting a PIN, I went on to 3 accounts(mine,my DDad and DBro) and saved like 4 vacations each, we already sent away for the DVD's......ugh! I NEED a PIN. I looked at what I owe, and since we upgraded dining, thought I had less to pay off than I do!! UGH!

Seeing how much is owed is the ONLY bad part about Disney.....

Its scary looking at what you owe. Hubby asked me what we still owe on our trip just last night. He took it in stride without batting an eye. :thumbsup2 Way to go hubby. :rotfl:

Have any of you bought .... "The Official Guide to Walt Disney World"? I just ordered it. This one is new to me. I saw it on another thread. Just thought I would give it a try. Oh, the smell of a brand new Disney World guide book. :lmao:

I haven't gotten the UG in a couple of years, but it's a good book. Probably my least favorite, but I still like it ALOT.

That is so frustrating. It happens to me all the time. This is what I do... after I finish typing, I hi-light the entire post and right click to copy it. THEN I hit post. That was if I lose it, I can just paste and try again.

Glad we could help.

Thanks for another great idea!:goodvibes

That's the thing, I think I'd like two rooms. My wife would prefer one. It's her parents, so, I guess that is why :):rotfl:

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:Ha ha ha! I can totally understand you wanting separate rooms! Separate rooms would be nice just for the extra bathroom alone. The idea of connecting rooms was a good one.

Yay! Does that mean you decided to stay for Thanksgiving Day?

Hope you all have a great evening and a fabulous Friday.:cloud9:

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

ME too!!! Saved itineraries and got the same result!!!

Already booked!! Love 30% pins!!

I decided to rent DVC points at this point. Since it is our last trip for a long time, we want to stay somewhere special. My son really liked the Dolphin last trip, but we can rent points and stay BWV or even BCV for cheaper. So, we will still be there from Nov 15-24, but hopefully in a deluxe villa.

I am so curious about this. I'd love to stay at BCV or BWV, but every time I've looked at doing the points rental thing, it hasn't seemed that much cheaper? Our rate at the Dolphin is $129/ night. Could we beat that with a point rental, do you think?

Hi guys, Is there a difference between saving a "priced out trip" and saving "itineraries"? I have saved four for November in two rooms, one with dining in each, one without in each.

Oh yeah, so excited, I went to Costco yesterday and they were selling the 2012 Passporter. So excited that I was able to pick it up for $17.00

Yeah! Renting points is a great way to stay. Are you doing just a studio or a 1-2 bedroom villa?

cool- i'll have to check it out!

Good morning y'all!

All these PINs are awesome!! I've never received one, but I'm still hoping. I think I'm going to call today to see if maybe I missed an email or something. :confused3

I finished my picture itinerary. I really liked how it came out. :goodvibes I'm sure I'll have to move some things around, and add the ADR times to it, but for the most part, I'm done.

Well, shoot. I guess I overlooked that. You're right...too many guides! Or maybe not....there can never be too much Disney info out there! :goodvibes

Yay! So happy for you. I'm sure you'll love it!:)

Awesome good for you!

I have no idea. Will be glad to see the answer, too.

Happy for you! We don't belong to Costco. I wonder if Sam's club has it. I should have already ordered it from Amazon, but I keep thinking "maybe Barnes & Noble will have it now". But, so far, they haven't. Then I say, I'm going to order it as soon as I get home. But, so far, I haven't. Vicious cycle. If I would have ordered it, I'd have it by now, but here I am, facing another weekend and hoping I can find it and have it in my hands NOW. :sad2: no wonder I'm so weird!:lmao:

So I signed up on the WDW website for the first time over this past weekend in the hopes of getting a PIN for my November trip. I ordered the vacation planning DVD and saved three trips.

Fast forward to yesterday morning and I have an email from Disney Destinations with the subject "A Disney Gift for You!" I was sooooo excited opening it!!! I thought I had gotten a PIN already!

However, it turned out to be a free downloadable Disney snowglobe :rotfl: Cool, buttt you can imagine my disappointment!!
