November 2012 Code Watch!!

I will add you! I dont know but I dont think FD is offered that week with it being Jersey week. We were going to go that week and switched because of Jersey week, Wine & Dine Marathon, Veterans Day, Masters meeting(or tournament-not sure which) and something else....too many ppl and crowd levels too big for me lol now we are going Nov 25-dec 2. But no matter when you go, you will have a good time. I dont like too many ppl/crowds so we dont go when there is CL above 7

The week AFTER Thanksgiving isnt that bad from what I read...Thanksgiving week is bad though. SO I guess it depends on if you want xmas decorations or fall lol

The bolded is the FD date, the week after the 3rd was Jersey week this past year So as long as you check in on the last FD date you are good. I just am not sure about the discounts this year as those events will be held. FD is to get ppl into the park and with those events, they will already be there. I think you will be ok.....

We weren't there this year, but we went to WDW for Thanksgiving week two years in a row before that. Touring Plans said it was crowded, but I barely noticed any crowds at all. We had touring plans and we paid attention to TGM and Touring Plans best and worst park recommendations.

If you really want to go that time of year, don't let the crowds deter you! We really weren't bothered by them at all, and we'll be there again this year!

I was hoping to get our tickets through the YES program, but it looks like they don't usually do open enrollment in November.

I looked into the YES program also. I'd really like my kids to be able to do it one day, but I didn't see any in November for 2011. You can get on their email list to be notified when they have any open enrollment classes. I think I emailed them a question, and they offered to put me on their email list.

Checked them..overall they went DOWN .2!!!

Whew!! I couldn't see everything at work! I'm really surprised. I expected them to go up.

So one of the families in my Grand Gathering says they 'might' not be able to go but wont know anything til late May or June ...depends on taxes/finances....which I totally get. DOnt get me wrong, I know money is tight everywhere but how the heck am I to plan a vacion for 17 ppl if 5 'might' not go? I think what I may do is plan the vacation, when our ADR's become available, I will book mine and they can book theirs OR they can give me a cc number cuz Im not doing it in case they cant go. They said they might take off a few days or stay at a different resort. She says I just dont wanna think about it right now. BUT kind of you DO!!! Its getting closer! It just throws a big planner like me for a loop! This happened last year when a family that we were gonna go with all of a sudden said we dont have the money. No offense to anyone BUT if you know u have a planned vacation comin up-SAVE FOR IT!!!!! That may mean not stopping at McDonald's everyday or buying a new movie every week. Im not rollin in the big bucks by any means but we save to be able to go and we dont foolishly spend. Yes sometimes we do splurge but Id rather go to Disney than eat a hamburger......ugh!!!! Guess now I have to just plan ours and if they come along then great...if not oh freakin well!!! LOL guess I just needed to vent

Hi everyone!

I'm thinking about 11/3 to 11/12.

We did a 2 week trip last June and had a great time, but the heat was brutal.
For our next trip, I don't want to deal with summer heat or Easter or Christmas crowds. So the only other option is to take the kids out of school. Nov 12 is veterans day so we can make the trip a day longer and we have a day off school on Nov 6, so the kids will only have to miss 4 days instead of 5.

I'm really hoping for free dining, but I guess we probably won't know if that will happen until much closer to those dates.

I have friends who went Jersey week last year and they said it wasn't bad at all. It surely can't be any worse than Mardi Gras when Louisiana descends on Disney.

I was finally able to put our dates in for Deal Finder for AA. Our last trip I was able to book rt for $146 each, hoping for a great deal again. BUT, right now it is at $668. lol

I am too chicken to do mine. I just pay H&R Block way too much to do it for me. At least that way, if something is wrong they will pay for the mess up.
