Only problem is no one has responded to me yet regarding my start date. I have no idea if I am supposed to show up tomorrow morning or Thursday. No one was around to answer my calls/emails over the holiday break. I was offered the job on Tuesday but was told it was pending board approval at Wednesday night;s meeting then heard nothing due to Thanksgiving. Job posting listed start date as December 1st but one of the interviewers indicated they may need me asap which would be tomorrow.

Not NEARLY as fun as WDW! I never shop on black Friday. Way too scary for me and nothing's worth it.

No Black Friday shopping for us. Well, I did run to Kohl's in the evening to exchange some sneakers that were wrong when they arrived. UGH. At least the store had them.

We saw The Muppets yesterday. It was fabulous! Whole family loved it. Christmas tree and decorations going up today.

Well......did everyone survive the Thanksgiving holiday? Ours was wonderful. No drama. This time next year hubby and I will be in Disney celebrating our 30th anniversary. Today is our 29th. My how time goes by.

Glad to hear you enjoyed Thanksgiving without any drama. Happy Anniversary!!! Celebrating your 30th next year in Disney World sounds amazing. We will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary in Disney next year. It happens to fall on travel dates that worked best for us. It is't really an anniversary trip though, lol.

I had a moment of weakness today and almost told the kids about our Disney surprise. One year ago today to arrived at Disney. It was DD, DS and my first time at Disney World. I was being a bit nostalgic (sp?) and almost told the kids. I'm glad now that I didn't, but it was close!

DH and I managed to finish with the indoor Christmas decorations. I love Christmas decorations, but I dislike putting them up. It is always a 2 day process for the inside and a 1 day process for the outside. DH still has to do the outside. I wish I had a team of Disney decorators that could come in at night and put everything up for me so I could just wake up in the morning and be surprised!!

Bad news... I think I broke my middle toe! I hit it on a tote full of Christmas stuff, and now I can't move my toes. DH wants to tape it up. Ughh.

Nooooooo! Your kids don't like the Muppets?!?!?! My DS20 and DD12 are both CRAZY about them. DS16 is not a big fan, but he loved the movie, too. And I was thinking DH would not like it, but he loved it. We're still all talking about it today.

Good for you, staying strong about the surprise. I'm sure I would have caved by now, especially in the scenario you described.

Ha ha! I wish our house could be decorated like that, too. Just a nice surprise in the morning. Our inside is pretty much done, outside only has my Mickey and Minnie Christmas flag going on so far......

Sorry about your toe! Might motivate me a little to weed unnecessary stuff out of our giant tote. There's so much crap in there, it's ridiculous. I'm not a fan of decorating any more and, by the time I do, I certainly don't feel like doing anything more, even though I NEED to get rid of some stuff.

I need to go through our stuff too. We have 12 (yes 12!!) of the largest totes they make full of Christmas stuff. Most of it has been handed down over the years. I have one tote just for snow globes, 1 for glass ornaments, 1 for Hallmark ornaments, 1 for the mantel decorations, and so on! I doubt I will go through them. I love all my stuff, and most if it is as old or older than I am. I buy each of my kids several ornaments each year... 1 Disney, 1 Hallmark, and one glass ornament. They will each have a nice collection of ornaments when they move out on their own.

My toes is better this morning. I don't think it's broke.. just sore.

I've picked up a few more Christmas presents online today. I'm done, but I keep seeing things and think, "Oh, that would be a good gift!" Make me stop!!

I got a little Disney surprise of my own today. My boss brought me back a refillable mug from Disney. I love it! We use ours from last year at home all the time. Love the pool/summer theme on it!

Yep, I was woken up by DH's snoring but then I couldn't go back to sleep because I just kept thinking about the work situation. Turns out I will be starting tomorrow morning.

I am super excited right now! DH told me tonight that he wants to spend 10 days at WDW for our next trip! YAY!!! The longest we've stayed was 8 days & he said he never wanted to stay that long again, so I am surprised. His only contingency was that we have 2 non park days to break up the trip & enjoy the resort. Fine with me!
So this has motivated me to book tomorrow b4 he changes his mind (which he usually does!).
