Have fun! I live 40 min from there:)
Thanks! We just love that area. We took the kids for a weekend last month but this weekend was free of kids. We had a delicious dinner in Little Italy and hit some of the pubs in Fells Point.

Not to change the subject BUT I think this board is chattier than other 2012 months lol
I think it just means that all the fun people are going in November 2012;)

I thought I quoted more posts here but I guess not. Anyways, glad the insurance covered the basement damage.

Welcome to the newcomers!

For those of us that started planning a preliminary itinerary and ADR's for this trip, let's share the restaurants we are hoping to get ADR's for.

Here's mine:

Character Breakfasts:
~Crystal Palace (must do)
~Hollywood and Vine (only if DS is still obsessed with these Disney Jr. shows)
~Donald's Safari at Tusker House
We will do continental breakfast in the CL lounge on other days. Mixing 3 sit down breakfasts in should help us from getting too bored.

Lunch:
LeCellier
Kona on resort day (I want to surprise everybody and rent a cabana at the pool that day and we can order room service from kona and have it delivered I think)
Probably mostly CS lunches and snacks during the day

Dinners:
~Ohana
~CRT (not 100% sold on this because we don't have any princess lovers so it would just be for eating in the castle oh and because right now DS is super flirty so we thought he might be cute with the princesses but who knows if he will still be that way in over a year, they change so much).
~Mickey's Backyard BBQ (if this fits in our schedule and due to cost it may be an either or deal with CRT).

Hmmmm, now I forget where else I was looking for dinner. This is why I must start a planner!

I am hoping to get:

Breakfasts:
Tusker House(gonna try breakfast this trip not sure if I want the breakfast or the new Donalds Safari Lunch)

Lunch:
None right now-we prefer a sit down dinner

Dinner:
Chef Mickeys(the first night a MUST do)
Crystal Palace(another MUST do for me(Im a HUGE pooh fan))
Princess Dinner at Akershus
50's Prime Time Cafe(MUST do for mom-shes a 50's fan and she will get a kick out of it)
T-REX ( I know it gets mixed reviews and isnt on the DDP but good end to our AK day!
O'Hana(maybe)
Cape May Cafe(If I cant get O'Hana)
1900 Park Fare(our last night-closing with some magic at MK with the MVMCP)

Hi all. :) Well, since I'm not the only loony one here planning meals more than a year in advance, I thought I might add to the madness.

IF FD is offered and IF we do decide to go with that and upgrade to a regular dining plan from the CS dining plan, then the following might happen:

B'fast
Chef Mickey
Donald's Safari B'fast

Lunch
Biergarten (CP package)
Sci Fi
Grand Floridian Cafe

Dinner
Citricos
Artist Point
California Grill (maybe)

As for our CS credits, we might do:
Main Street Bakery
Sunshine Seasons
Yakitori House
Starring Rolls cafe
Yak & Yeti CS
Columbia Harbour House
Wolfgang Puck Express
Earl of Sandwich
Foodcourt at resort

There you have it. My madness, also known as WDW planning.

I've had my ADR wish list planned (and documented in an excel document) for a couple months now. I'm at work (on my lunch break) and my list is at home. I'll have to post it tonight. We do the deluxe dining plan. I'm praying for free dining so I only have to pay for the upgrade. DH likes the deluxe plan, and if getting it means DH is on board to go, then I'm all for it.

Last year we had early morning ADRs before the park opened each morning. We all loved being able to go into the parks before they opened, and DH got some awesome pictures! Most mornings we were done by the time the park opened and got to the rides a few steps ahead of the crowd. It was perfect for grabbing fast passes and catching a few rides. Anyway, we will be doing that again for most mornings. Lunch, if we are hungry, is at a counter service restaurant. We make ADRs for dinner each night, and I try to do as many character meals as I can so we don't have to wait in line for characters in the parks. It seemed to work out pretty well last year so that's my plan 2012.

We do as many character meals as we can too cuz I HATE waiting in line for my kids to see them:) just wastes some time. Cant wait to see your list! If we do get FD I am going to upgrade to DxDP

Well, the tickers are back.:laughing::laughing:

I'll have to get my list out and post it. I'm feeling very Disney disorganized right now. I have to get the binder finished and get everything pulled together.

I just have a list...nothing is typed or in everyones binder. I was gonna do that when I scheduled ADR's incase I couldnt get some of them

SHHH DH DOES NOT know about that lol it probably wont happen BUT I can dream right?

Ah. I bet you'll work it out so that it happens! :cool1:

Count me in! We'll be arriving Nov 24th 2012, but can adjust our arrival date if it means getting a better deal.

Yay! :welcome:

Just checking in! Hopes everyone has a great day! Another $ earned is another $ for Disney!

:rotfl: That's what I keep telling myself!

The excel document is impressive! I'm not computer-savvy enough for that!

I DO have my meals planned already, though.

TS meals we are planning on:

Le Cellier
Tutto Italia
'Ohana
Crystal Palace (not sure yet on breakfast or dinner.....)
Cape May
Captain's Grill (this will be new for us)
Kona (for breakfast on the morning we leave. Our sad, little, YUMMY tradition:sad2:)

Probable CS:

Wolfgang Puck Express
Tangierine Cafe (DH and I (we love our schwarma platters) Kids will probably do Sommerfest)
Columbia Harbor House
Cosmic Ray's
Pizza Planet (new for us)
Riverside Mill (for 1 or 2 meals)

Question: I'd had been asking about MVMCP. I'm pretty sure it's not offered at all the week of Thanksgiving. Anyone know this for sure? I know wasn't offered at all last year during our Thanksgiving trip and it doesn't seem to be during this year's Thanksgiving week. I think I'm out of luck.....

WOW! Everyone has such great ADRs planned. Hopefully we will all get what we are hoping for. I may be a little spoiled. Last year I was able to get every ADR I wanted at the time I wanted. Praying I get that lucky again!

Here are mine:

Breakfast
CRT
Akerhus
Hollywood Vine & Dine (just so we can get in the park early)
Cape May
Tusker House
Crystal Palace (maybe - my kids are big into those characters)

Dinner
Hoop Dee Do (Everyone keeps suggesting this, but I'm not so sure. Any opinions?)
California Grille
Via Napoli
Flying Fish

I still have to decide on a dinner for Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Any suggestions? We are not steak eaters, if that makes a difference.

We do not like eating at Hollywood Studios. On our 2 days there, we are going to eat at Cape May at Beach Club (we loooooove it!) and Captain's Grill at Yacht Club (this one's new for us, but we hear good things about it). We'll take the boat from DHS to those 2 resorts. Worked out great last year.

At Epcot, we love Tutto Italia, Coral Reef and Le Cellier (but we ARE steak eaters) Haven't tried Les Chefs, but that one sounds intriguing to me. Might try the counter service in France this time. For counter service, DH and I loooove Tangierine Cafe and we all like Sommerfest.

Have fun deciding.:goodvibes

The Hoop Dee Doo Revue is very funny! We were laughing till our sides ached. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was plentiful also. BUT, the journey to get to campsite took forever. Of course, we were taking Disney transportation. I suppose if you're planning to drive, it shouldn't be much of an issue. Go try it!! I highly recommend HDHR! :thumbsup2
