Hi All -

We're going down from Oct 30 through Nov 7. This afternoon, I received an email ("Disney Dream-Come-True Maker") with a PIN for 20/30/40 off.

I pretty much just followed the advice everyone gave previously. Went online and saved some itineraries about a month ago and they sent me the Alice PIN via snail mail that wasn't good for the end of the year. After that one expired, I went back in and monkey'd around with my saved vacations: deleted a couple, saved a few new ones.

About two weeks later (today) I got the email. Dates are good for most nights 2/15-3/27; 4/11-7/1; 7/5-10/7; 10/11-11/23; and 11/28-12/26.

We are going to WDW Nov. 14-19 after our Wonder cruise(our first!!). I just booked Bay Lake Tower with DVC points. Can I get the free dining deal or the 4/3 deal when I used points for the room???

When is your cruise? We are booked Nov. 7-11 on the Wonder (our first cruise!), then eight nights at WDW.

I didn't realize there were things you could do to increase your chance of getting a pin! Could you PLEASE tell me what these are. Also, what is the 20/30/40 offer? I've seen this referenced but don't know what it means. Thanks!

Well..... that's the theory. Just know that for every person who has done this and had it work, there are MANY of us trying it over and over... and still waiting for that elusive PIN......

I just recieved a PIN for free quick service dining but the dates are wrong for me

That refers to a discount offer of 20% off value resorts, 30% off moderate resorts, and 40% off deluxe resorts.

I agree that selection seems to be completely random when it comes PIN's. There are lots of people here who have done everything suggested and still haven't received a hint of a PIN. Others seem to do one or two things and then get the best PIN's out there. Only Mickey truly seems to know the reasoning.....

One of the main suggestions you'll see is to create an account for yourself at the website below, and go in and create some sample itineraries for yourself by selecting a resort, ticketing options, etc. Save them. Wait a few weeks, and go back in to change them around/mess with them some more. Save them. Wash, rinse, and repeat as necessary.

It seemed to work for me -- since doing those steps about 1.5 months ago, I've gotten two PINs sent to me. Good luck!

I did pretty much what Eric mentioned. I created a Disney account, requested the planning DVD, created some sample itineraries, started an online reservation and went all the way to the payment section and then cancelled out and completed the exit survey that popped up and chose "waiting for better offer" when asked why I didn't complete my reservation and ....... within one week received an e-mail for a 20/30/40 PIN. Even better, when I called to actually book my reservation, the CM offered me a 25/35/45 PIN. Yeah!!!!

I guess some people are lucky and some are not. I called again and still no pin. Ordered DVD, played around with dates on computer, subscribed to every website. Still no pin. This will be my 8th trip to Disney and I have never received a pin. It's still not gonna stop me from going though.

I called again today too, and no pin. I've been in and out of that Disney site saving things, creating videos, etc.... and nothing....

You don't suppose I had to return my featured title in the Disney movie club one too many times, do you?????

I called today. No pin for me. The lady I spoke to told me she never heard of any discounts that go past July. I hope something will come out for me to use.
The thought of paying full price for my package makes me cringe.

I am now on the look out for a November PIN too! We are booked at POP for November 7-13th. I am hoping for free dining! We have only been to WDW once (we went in January with our 3 little ones), and are heading back for the honeymoon we never had. I can't wait! Good luck to all those waiting for a code. Hello everyone!

This thread is giving me anxiety lol. Many of us seem to be on pins and needles for the same thing.

I would like to added to the list on the thread please.
We will be going to disney Nov 5-15th! My 30th birthday was supposed to be a big deal in 09 but ended up a big nothin'. So, my mom is going to make up for it by taking five of us to Disney this year.

I'm really hoping for a pin though. I have a couple but they aren't anything I can use in November. I would really like to go into a Moderate resort, any while my mom says I should book that, I don't want to because she is the one paying and I don't feel right about it. I would with a pin though LOL.

Do you think having our trip already booked hurts our chance of getting emailed a pin?
