November 2010 Code watch

Nov 15-20 ASMU family suite, deal or no deal we are going. Fingers crossed for free dining or an offer for FL residents (my parents live there and are joining us on our trip yeah!!!):grouphug:

We went in Dec. on a 40% pin code we got last year. Has anyone gotten a pin 2 years in a row?
We've gotten a free dining pin for Nov.-Dec. two years in a row, but weren't able to use it. Now we want to go that time of year and are hoping for a third time. I don't know if we are hoping for too much:rotfl2: We did get a pin for 30% off our room which we are booked in right now. Still hoping....

Well, we changed our plans and instead of going for Thanksgiving this year we are going June 3-13 to celebrate my DS birthday. Also, we couldn't wait that long. Maybe we will plan a November trip if we get a good bounceback offer. :)

We are hoping to go Nov. 8th to the 13th after a cruise. We already have a trip booked for May. Does anyone know if a bounceback offer can be applied to an already existing reservation? I haven't booked the November dates yet, just waiting for a pin.

Subscribing.

Planning for November 11-16 for DD's 13th b-day suprise and our 20th wedding anniversary celebration!

Just returned from 9 days at AKL, and I booked our bounceback at the Poly for November 18-23. It'll be the boys first trip, and our anniversary all rolled into one! I can't wait!

We were booked for October, but after much discussion, we're now going to be there on my Mom's actual birthday (November 15th). Our dates are 11/7-11/18.

I just got an email this morning for the 20/30/40% of room rate PIN. We want to go in September so this should work great for us. Here's the dates it gives in case anyone is wondering: For stays most nights 1/18–2/11/10,
2/15–3/27/10, 4/11–7/1/10, 7/5–10/7/10,
10/11–11/23/10 and 11/28–12/16/10.

We're definitely going, pin or no pin. Here's a question, though, since I'm a relative WDW newbie: If I get a pin for 30% off a Value and use that, would I be able to switch offers if I got a pin for free dining later? It seems to me that FD would save me more since we're almost certain to stay Value.

Looking at going 11/19 - 11/26. Hoping for codes! I think I want the free nights rather than the dining. Really, it's the airfare that is going to kill us. Even with Southwest, we are probably looking at $1K for the 3 of us. Going to have taxes done tonight, hopefully some good news!

I'm the opposite because I can only take off a few days during the school year. I'd rather free dining. I agree, though, that airfare is going to be a killer, five people from MI to FL. Let's hope of our tax preparers find a huge return for both of us! :thumbsup2

We are going November 25-December 3rd... but we are driving.

When I called to make reservations through Disney she also looked into airfare. For the 5 of us(from Detroit Metro) she could have gotten us all there for $1200. Plus $25 each way for 1st bag... $35 for any additional bags. If we hadn't already resigned ourselves to driving it wouldn't have been that bad of a deal. But we had already discussed it and listed all of the pros of driving so we decided against it.

Isn't airfare ridiculous? Not to mention the stupid baggage fees they now charge. What's next? I have to hold my breath the entire flight, or pay per minute for oxygen? Sheesh.

I booked my flight today for $210 per person roundtrip. Our local regional airport to IAD then to MCO and back. The only "problem" is I have to stay at Disney an extra day. No one in my family complained about that. :thumbsup2 When I priced flights for the day we want to come back, the 6am leaving MCO flight was $345 roundtrip per person, and later times were up into the $400 range.
I figured the extra day at Disney would be fun, plus our regional airport is only 10 miles away instead of a 4 hour drive to the city airport. I'm really happy with my flight cost.

We are officially going from Nov 12 (a Friday) until Nov 20 (a Sunday).
I am beyond excited and will now get ready to plan my table service meals for the dining plan I purchased.

Anyone know if MVMCP will run between 11/12 and 11/20? What about Osbourne Lights? I'm not counting on either, but I just wondered.

I hope all of you get great airfare. :wizard:

We are doing our first split stay:goodvibes

Nov 25 to Nov 27 at the ASMo (first time there, our 6yo wants to stay there)

Nov 28 to Dec 4th at the Contemporary (first time there)

HI,

We normally go to WDW earlier in November and get to utilize some sort of discount offer.

This year we are checking in the day after Thanksgiving (11/26). I've never paid attention to black out dates - but does the weekend after Thanksgiving typically qualify as a black out period for discounts?

Thank you for any input.

Debra

When we went during Thanksgiving week in 2008 (Sun before Thanksgiving thru the Sat after Thanksgiving), we had a discount on room only reservation and the rates were higher for Wed, Thurs & Friday. But none of the days were blacked out.

We just booked using the 20/30/40 pin at Pop for the same days this year and not only are the rates higher for Wed, Thurs & Friday, but they are blacked-out as well.

Oh well! I won't complain too much because we'll be at Disney! :cool1:
