Melissa (NeverlandClub) How was your cruise? :boat:
Mollie (OhMom) How was the Marathon? :cheer2:

The rest of you turkeys and bunnies, I will keep checking the Hyatt. I will let you know if things open up.

Yeah Ron, with all our new friends coming, you better put in a call to your "girlfriend" and double up on the shrimp order :earboy2:

O.K. guys.....I'm ready for the flaming.......So I have one of my advertising companies that is going to let me use two two bedroom condos at "Rocky Point Vistas" in Mexico for free......50 feet from the beach April 3rd thru the 9th. DDs WOULD RATHER SAIL!!!!!! Can you believe it???? That's not the flaming......So I looked into DCL and 2 state room for 4 night Bahamian is 5500.00......O.K. get ready to flame......Yes, I feel "dirty" but I looked at RCCLs web site......1 ocean view (yes, no verandah, but it is only 4 nights) and 1 inside is 1800.00......I think I am going to book RCCL......they are giving discounts now because the ship isn't sold out............LET THE FLAMING BEGIN!!!!!!!!

Hey Silver7.
Thanks for asking. What can I say about our Romantic Cruise except.... PERFECT.
We were treated like royalty up in Palo's and by our servers and room steward. I will try to post a trip report soon. We did REAS and our bed was covered with a huge heart made of red rose petals and two kissing swan towels. So romantic. We ate in Palo's with our fav server, Gemma, every night except for the first night. We were pampered in the spa, hung out at the adult pool. OH it was the best trip of my life. The T-day cruise will be wonderful in a totally different way, with all 4 kids going. We deliberately skipped Pirate night as we didn't want to do this without the kids. So we are looking forward to it on the next cruise. I just love Disney!
Take care all!

Ron
I never knew you were a "FLAMER"
What the FLAME are you doing cruising another CL? :earseek:
You won't have the MOUSE! :earboy2:
You won't have the nice water( disney smooths out the Ocean before we go over the same water, i am told) :boat:
You won't have US :grouphug:
When you are at the same dock and see the WONDER, you'll get so depressed that you aren't on the Disney boat.

Then you will lose $4000.00 in the Casino...I'll bet you! So after all it is cheaper to go Disney!

Julia says i have to work or i will take your Rocky PT!

Hey John do ya think they have... :rockband: ? I can't believe DDs are that hooked on sailing!!! Here's the goal......DW (Kim) wants to do a sailing on another CL in Sept. or Oct. with friends......some of her old buddies go for 5 nights every other year....this is the year. Maybe she'll hate it and not want to go.......hehehehehe

What if we told Ronnie they don't have Miller Lite on RCCL? They also don't let you carry your own beer on board!!

Ron, there will be blood in your alcohol stream!! Is THAT worth $4K to you?

On the other hand.. you could buy Kim another Rollie or a summer's worth of gas for the boat with the savings.

Mollie,

Update us on the WDW Marathon.

No miller lite??? No "girlfriend" to give updates? And worst of all........no "dis geeks"....LOL Sorry all you new threaders, my DD gave us that name.....hehehehe Hey Doogie....going to be 53 here tomorrow, if the streets just dry a little.....I think I might..........

I called RCCL.....they ARE NOT DCL!!!! Very nice but not "out of the way nice"....and could you believe they didn't know who I was???? How could they not....I'm Ron Bon Jovi..*thinks...Denny Crane* LOL

We have not had any new cruisers join the board in a while. Any lurkers reading this and not posting? Come on board! Hopefully when they commit and sign up, our friends will begin posting here.

Lampy. Lampy, Lampy. Don't you feel dirty? Fooling around on your "girlfriend" will get you in deep doo doo. RCCL? Tsk tsk tsk.

The Willster

The Turkey day group can be a little intimidating, huh Willie.....come in guys the water IS warm.........Just STAY AWAY from my and Willies miller lite.......LOL

I must be getting ill, it sounds like I'm sharing my lite.......

hello to all my fellow turkey day cruisers!!! thanks for asking about the marathon, i wasn't ignoring you i just got home late last night. after walking 13.1 miles officially we figured we could walk the parks for a day or two

please keep in mind this is my first marathon experience, there were some definate negatives happening, go to the WISH board for the marathon riot thread to read ALL about it from our perspective. I was anxious, didn't sleep well and arose from bed at 2:47 a.m. to be at the bus stop at 3:15! :earseek: I was fortunate to be with my Mom and my cousin and another great group of WISHers and we had a fantastic experience together. Fireworks to start the race, entering World Showcase completely lit in the wee hours of the morning, entering Main Street and continuing through MK - it was beyond words. I found it emotional, frustrating, truly awesome, hard at times and yet the time literally flew and we were there finishing. We finished in 3 hours 20 mins, which considering the extrememly crowded course, a potty break and a picture break (with Goofy I think) Mom and I are very proud of our victory!

doogie - if you've done a marathon at WDW please read what happened and give me your take if you have the chance. it was very heartbreaking for those we knew that trained all year and accomplished great changes in themselves. i also heard several full marathoners were unfairly chuted into the half finish b/c of timing errors

i expect my mom to be popping in here now that our WDW trip is over :sad2:

also - i had the pleasure of meeting and spending a little time with CherylN WI from last year's turkey sailing. She so kindly brought me navigators from the cruise! Somehow she misplaced Sunday but i think we'll have enough to convince my Mom there really is alot to do onboard as adults :flower1: If anyone has a Oceaneer Lab navigator for my 8 year old, would you consider copying and mailing to me, that would complete my set

Glad you got to meet Cheryl. Her and Al are really nice folks. Their daughter and mine became good buddies before and on the TDay cruise.

Molly,

What are the WISHers?

I really don't understand all the circumstances around the WISHers. Yes, it's commonplace to require a certain time or be picked up. Normally there's a vehicle that follows at that pace. Fall behind it and you're out. It doesn't sound like Disney was consistent? When I ran it seemed well organized.

Can one of you past T'day cruisers give me the basic itinerary for the trip? When are the semi and formal nights? When was Pirate night? I am missing the Magic and I want to start planning, at least in my head. Thanks in advance! :cool1:

Hi All

Neverland- Let the Magic happen!
from a guys perspective....do not try to schedule too much
it will go so fast that you will be standing in line to sign up for another cruise.
uh...wait a minute....that was us...nevermind...
Just take your time and smell the MAGIC :earboy2:

Sorry to here about the Marathoners

Any other NEwBEEs out there?
i need something new to read
Ron are you still a flamerrrrrrrr :earboy2:
John

I think that the first formal night was monday, not sunday. We had the APL rotation and we were in Lumiere's for both Formal and Semi-Formal nights.

On the 2004 Thanksgiving cruise, the first sea day (Monday) was formal night.

Thanks guys! Just want to plan out in my head when to get Flounders ressies for the baby, and which nights I want to go to Palo. (ok, I WANT to go every night, but I need to be somewhat realistic.) I can't help the planning. It makes me feel like its all "Real", you know? My family calls me Julie McCoy, the cruise director. But I do plan the best trips!! hee hee hee
Let's get ready to party. Anybody else dressing up for Pirate night? ARRGH! :cool1:

Re dressing for Pirate night. This past cruise our tablemates, the Griffins,(Babysharknc) wore big pirate captain hats that were cool. The waiters will give you a red bandana that is printed "Pirates of the Carribean Party" on it to wear. I had bought a black pirate bandana at Cozumel to wear. The dinner and deck party are great fun. We have watched our home video of the deck party 4 times since we got home. It was the best night of the cruise.
