Thought I would stop in to say goodnight, waiting for 12:01am to go online and get my boarding passes for SouthWest. They should give me preboard because of my little one, but I am taking no chances. We need to all sit together. I got Madagascar on DVD today for the youngest set to watch on the plane and keep busy. I know I am probably forgetting to pack something, hope I remember before I leave.
I am easy to spot at port. Blonde chasing 4 kids with tall hubby. :goodvibes

Aww, what adorable pets! The hardest part about going on vacation is leaving behind our furry babies (1 GSD, 1 Maine Coon, 2 mutt cats, fish and whatever bug entomologist-in-training DD Alicia is preoccupied with).

Hey, I am not on the "Flippin List"! I had a feeling everyone was ignoring me, I don't even register on the list :sad1: ;) Guess I better quit packing and start posting more!

And finally, all those at early seating will be witness to DH wearing jeans to dinner for 2 nights. Yes, I have lost the battle to dress up my husband, and I gave in to him for 1st night and Pirate Night. At least he agreed to wear a jacket for formal night! I take my victories were I can get them, no matter how small the victory. Sorry if any will be offended by my DH, but he is a very casual man, doesn't care what anyone thinks of how he is dressed. My daughters and I, however, love the dressing up for dinner. I just hope I remember to wear the looser dresses towards the end of the trip! :teeth:

Hey, I am on the list! Guess that means I am really going to be on the ship in 84 hours (not that I am counting or anything :D.

Ok, someone please explain to me why on Cruisecal.com it shows the Disney Magic being in port until 10:30 p.m., but yet it was only in port until 6 for the last cruise? I know when I originally spoke with DCL after the itinerary change I was told we were in port until 10:30. I wonder what the DCL rep will say when I call tomorrow? All for naught though if we change itinerary again.

Am I the only one that is too excited to sleep? Don't you people have things running through your minds about your trip that prevent you from sleeping? Hmm, perhaps I am a bit too obsessive....hurry up Thursday night!

Well, I am finally going to bed and it's 1:29am here. My hubby is out of town in California and just got off the phone with him. We just lost power here in Cincinnati for about 45 min. I kept looking outside waiting for a tornado...just don't like going to bed with this crazy weather and all ...and also having a terrible time going to sleep without my hubby. I'm getting sleepy :faint: Must retire for the night.

Before I go to bed, guess what I found in my scrapbook(I never started)?! The Thanksgiving of 04 Menu. I have three of them...they are as good as new...no spills or rips on them. For those who want to order lobster tail for Thanksgiving...here's what it says....presented in the shell with Lemon Butter, Sauteed Young Green Beans and Saffron Braised Yellow Rice...mmmm. Chef's Recommendations for a sweet tooth is Pumpkin Cheesecake with a fresh berry sauce. Should I go on?????? Getting excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chuck and I were just catching up...We love all of the animal pix (especially Julia's cat sleeping w/ a teddy bear). Unfortunately, we had to give our black lab, Zeke, to a friend a few years back when we learned that Mason had bad allergies.

One thing we noticed--Kenny--on your packing list you don't mention any shorts or pants??? Are you planning on dressing like Winnie the Pooh or Tom Cruise in Risky Business???

Chuck and Lisa

No not like Winnie the Pooh - I'll just have my bathing suit on, That's because that's where you'll find me during the day on the cruise. I love the sun and water. :rotfl2:

Melissa,

See you tomorrow at VWL, also didn't you know that you can now get SW boarding passes 24hrs in advance of your flight time, NOT at 12:01 the day of your flight. They made that change recently.

Have a safe trip. I'll look forward to see you at the resort.

Kris,

You need to update your list using REV 10 of the spread sheet. There are names on your list that aren't going and missing names that are.

If you didn't get rev 10 let me know and I'll resend to you.

Anybody else not get it. :badpc:

OH MY GAWD !!!!!

My son(27 yrs) informed me tonight that he has purchased a gas power Deep Turkey fryer and will cook dinner for his friends on Thanksgiving.

Oh MY -
All I can picture is that commercial for windows and the guy in the back yard is blowing up the grill......

I got the famous reply - "Don't Worry"

Mary

Mary,
From a couple of experienced Turkey fryers,,,get him a set of thick leather gloves & download him EXPLICIT instructions on how to do it!!! Can be VERY hazardous!!

Tropical Depression Twenty-Seven Discussion Number 10

Statement as of 4:00 am EST on November 16, 2005

There is no real evidence that a surface center still exists. No
westerly component of low cloud motion can be discerned on
nighttime infrared channel images...and an earlier Quikscat
ambiguity plot was not at all convincing. We will wait for visible
imagery and additional data to confirm that the depression has
dissipated. It appears that the depression...or its remnant...is
about to be drawn into a more dominant low pressure area over the
southwestern Caribbean Sea. Indeed...this latter system is the
more impressive-looking feature at this time. Additionally...the
upper-level outflow from the southwest Caribbean disturbance may
disrupt the smaller and weaker upper anticyclone under which the
depression was expected to move. If this is the case...then the
upper-level flow would not become more favorable for
intensification...or regeneration.

Willie-You are leaving today or tomorrow??? You guys are lucky...I wish we could leave early. FYI-Hard Rock Hotel is Awesome. We were there about 4 years ago. The kids loved it and want to go back. The greatest thing is...it's easy to go in all the attractions since you are staying on the property.

HAVE FUN and we will see you SATURDAY!! Ya Hooooo :Pinkbounc
