Yes, it was free. It is a long story, but the end result is we went from a cat 6 to a cat 4 with no additional cost.

Are any of you stayinig on Disney property on Friday night?We could plan an evening meet for ice cream at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club or somewhere else.We will be staying at Pop Century,and we will be arriving there around 8 pm.Let us know.We can't let them have all the fun at the Radisson<G>!

Hi all,

It's coming quickly...30 days from today we will be leaving to Orlando and will be staying at La Quinta at the airport...We will be arriving at the airport at about 10:30 that evening...so it will be late for us to try to get together. What time are any of you heading to boat...late morning?

HI Maria...hey it's getting close....say you are only about 2 hours away from boat? We were thinking of staying at the Raddison, but by the time we get there, it would be about 11:30pm.
I hope I get the DOCS soon before we meet the other DIS on November 6th. It would be fun to go over it.

Last night I took my youngest DD(Jenna) to see the greenday concert...oh, we are both very tired. The band was not bad at all...it was a good concert.

Anyway, got to go finish up fauxing....have a great day.

anybody watch my Astros last night? What A heartbreaker! I listened on the radio. We still have no cable, and the sports bars in town were jam packed. The Astros have never been to the World Series, but have been here at the door so many times over the years, but have always managed to lose. Maybe this year they can get rid of the jinx!

Speaking of sports, my soccer team looked way out of shape! I told them they have been laying around the past month (Post Rita) eating MRE's and getting fat!


Looks like we are short timers now .......Soon we be sailing, mon.

As a die hard Cubs fan, I feel your pain. In fact, I had to check and make sure the Cardinals were not playing the Cubs last night. One strike away from the Series! I thought five outs away was bad. No Bartman to blame, just Lidge. Should have walked Pujols! Shoulda, woulda, coulda....Ron is laughing as his White Sox watch the Cards and Astros burn up starting pitchers while the Sox rest.

OK Gang, the t-shirts are going to be ready by Friday. I just spoke to my t-shirt connection. We were able to agree on a price of $6.00 per shirt, including tax! I guarantee that these will be the least expensive things that you buy for this cruise! I received a suggestion about shipping from Mickeyhugger (Priscilla), and I have checked it out with the post office. It seems like the way to go will be by priority mail. The cost of shipping will be somewhere between $4.00 and $7.00 depending on where you live and how many shirts are in the package. If you would like for me to ship your shirts, please pm me with your address, and I will. I already have Mickeyhugger's and Scorpio1112's addresses. Doug, I have yours too, but that was for me to send you a check for the Grand Cayman excursion. If you want, let me know, and I will send your check with your shirts. If I ship you your shirts, I will include my return address. Just send me a check for $6.00 per shirt plus whatever the actual shipping cost turns out to be. Julia-Yes,we are 2 hours from Orlando.If we go from here straight to port it is like 2 to 2 1/2.It isn't bad.It all depends on traffic on highway.You all are going to be arriving late at the Radisson.I am hoping that we are all packed on the 18th,and that as soon as dh gets home we can leave which will put us in Orlando before 8.We are wanting to be at port by 9:30AM.We will be in that area early though as we are going to go by and see Shirley at the Perfect Gift before boarding ship.

I fondly recall going to Sox games in years past. But nowadays, an afternoon at the park costs over $100 for my family of six. Its such a shame that its so costly.

The last time we were at a game was Teamsters Day on Labor Day in 2004. We had hoped to go to this year's Teamsters Day again, but hubby had to work (ironic isn't it - LOL!).

Gotta love those ballpark hot dogs, eh?

Well,I hope that Wilma is the last hurricane for this season.I wish we could go back to the good old days where there were just one or two hurricanes.They are predicting now that Wilma will hit as a category three or four hurricane.I hope and pray they are wrong,and it suppose to hit in FL.

Tri-Circle... Yes, I would like our T-shirts mailed if you could. Thanks so much for doing this. If you want to send the check for your GC excursion as you suggested, just deduct the T-shirts and shipping costs from your check. The cost was $55 per adult and $40 per child 10 or under. I'll be confirming our count w/ NativeWay this week.

If anyone has an 11 -13 year old son who would like to correspond w/ my 12 year old (son). Send me a PM and I'll send you my email. He hasn't met anyone yet... (other than the girls who went last year). He loves football, basketball, outgoing and well-behaved... as far as we know. LOL

We're heading to Duluth for a few days for a figure skating competition this week... brrrrr. 6 hours of driving for a few minutes on the ice. We'll see how things go.

But here goes... and just bash me if I shouldn't be going here but I thought I'd try...

Does anyone have experience with tuning their own piano... yes this is WAY off subject...

but DHs b-day is just around the corner and he is convinced that he can learn to tune it himself if I just buy him a kit!!! I'm quite skeptical and the prices vary to the extreme! He is suggesting this as his b-day gift...

I don't even know where to begin with this but I thought I'd ask if anyone has any experience and/or recommendations!!
