You're in a good location - midship. Bonine will be a good prevention drug, as you won't be in your stateroom all evening. If you're in Parrot Cay (deck 3 aft) or Animators (deck 4 aft), you may feel some movement as we are leaving the U.S.

I am gty myself and I was told I would not get a room number till I boarded. I hope I get mine 30 days before we leave. Anyway, I never even gave it a thought that that would cause a problem with the fish extenders. We are going to meet before we sail away anyway, so would be able to get room numbers straighten out then. Am I right?

That's a tough question! We decided to go to Palo on the 2nd night, which is pirate night. Our dinner is at 6pm so we'll have plenty of time to see the play and then go to the party. Since we don't know our dining rotation in advance, I dont' want the kids/grandkids to miss the show at Animators. If we are scheduled to be in Animators the night we go to Palo, we may sneak down to Animators around dessert time to see the show.

Sorry I couldn't help you with this question. On a 3 day time is so limited!

Well, I am pretty sure we will be joining you all for this cruise. We are already booked on the Nov 21 sailing and thought back to back would be so much better than only 3 days on board.
We are part of FE on the other cruise (thanks SillyLittlePixie) and would love to participate on this one as well.
Especially since we get the opportunity to see one of the suites
It will be me (Mom-Alison), DH (Dad-Ron) and DD (Laurin-10)

I will know for sure in a couple of days. Crossing my fingers we'll be on the boat with you all.

Hi all! I just want to say that I am getting so excited! I have been finding lots of FE gifts around town and stocking up. We just got our 9" Vinylmation Mickey we are going to drop off at guest services for signatures. We also received our t-shirts. DH was not keen on the matching Disney shirt idea so we each got something a little different but Disney-ish. If I could pack my bag to have waiting by the door tonight, I think I would!

Hello! Although this is our first cruise, as well, from what I have been reading, it won't be difficult at all for your little girl to meet the princesses. It seems they are around A LOT on the cruises. Woo Hoo!

Hi All... well I am aliron (married to aliron682) and just paid for a room on the boat. It will be great that we have . Last year we went on the 3 night just before thanksgiving and they had all the decorations up and were finishing the ginger bread house.. it smelled great.

Well, I cheated, I ordered our shirts from Disney so it was EASY! They are really cute and I keep telling the kids they can't wear them until the cruise...it's killing them! hee hee

I keep thinking that the next couple months are going to sneak up on me since I have been on the boards and obsessing for SO LONG. I have started packing my box that I am shipping to the ship. It's got our sand toys and FE gifts...I am hoping everything fits! lol

BTW, has anyone ever shipped a box to the ship? I am hoping it's going to work out, as it will have lots of stuff in it. I haven't gotten our magnets started, but I think I am going to pack those in there too.

We are flying in on the same day and hope that we get to the ship early enough not to be rushing. It seems that with the time change and the travel from the airport to the ship, we may be coming on late in the afternoon. We are having Disney book our flights so I am at their mercy and don't have any information yet.

I can't wait to meet everyone!

I love the Vinylmation idea! That would be great! I'm going to share your link with my friends who are cruising with us- their kids love vinylmation already. I think we'll be doing the pillowcases again so DH and I get a set.

I have packed a box to send before. The dimensions are very specific, look on the sticky at the top of the forum to find out. There was a box at the USPS that worked. However- be sure to send it in time, but not too far ahead. And have your sailing date and info not only on the outside but the inside as well. On my cruise last November, one of my friends shipped a box with all the FE gifts in it (I did as well). Unfortunately DCL or the room steward delivered it to the family in her stateroom on the cruise BEFORE ours. They opened it and kept all the gifts!!!!! Mine got there fine though. I wonder if my friend's box got there too early? I might end up sending a box as well again. I'll just try to be sure to mark it all over with NOVEMBER 18 3 DAY WONDER! And have a packing list inside and with me as well if there was a problem. It looks like most of the time it's not a problem though.

I would be REALLY careful about booking a flight that comes in the same day as a cruise. In fact, at that time of year I'd recommend against it. If there's a flight delay, you miss the cruise. And sometimes, your plane can't get to you in City A because there's a snowstorm (or technical problems) in City B, where that plane was before it comes to you. I've been stuck for many many hours in an airport with that same situation. Luckily it was at the end of a vacation not the beginning! Is there any way you can fly in the night before?
