I was just wondering how the crowds are around this time of year. I am praying for low crowds before Thanksgiving week.
Just cannot wrap my head around a 6:30 Fantasmic :confused3.
Any info or thoughts would be welcomed and appreciated.

We went the week before TG last year...it was a great week. Decent crowds, great weather, saw the decorations and the lights :thumbsup2

We always go the week after Thanksgiving and it is fabulous! Unfortunately we cannot go because DH doesn't have any vacation days until January. I will miss the Christmas decorations!

We went that week last year, and will be there again this year 11/14-11/19. Crowds were low - calm before the storm of Thanksgiving week. We found it necessary to get there at rope drop to ride the headliners without a long wait, but all the non-headliners throughout the rest of the day were mostly walk-on or 10 min wait max.

6:30 Fantasmic is only because it gets dark earlier that time of year. Perhaps the only negative this time of year is shortened daylight hours, and earlier park closings as a result.

We went that same week last year and LOVED it!! I wish we could go again at that time, but the kids are older so we now have to start going around school schedules :(
The weather was absolutely perfect..not too hot or too cold. Kids were able to swim. I agree with the above poster. Although it's a slower time, we still did rope drop and never waited more than a few min to ride anything. The decorations were all up for Christmas and the Osborne Lights were on as well. It is a fantastic time to visit WDW!

Same here, 11/15-24 last year and it was pretty awesome. The last few days started getting crowded sometime around Thursday and just picked up a little each day until we left. Park hours are shorter as crowds are lower and days are shorter. AK usually closes around 5:00PM, unless they have started the nighttime stuff by then.

Crowds will be very low. Little to no wait for most attractions- we only needed a handful of FP+ for the week (TSMM, Soarin', Test Track, Peter Pan, and I'm sure the new 7DMT). Weather is pretty great- warm enough to swim during the day, cool enough to enjoy the cool evenings.

Yes, parks do tend to close a bit earlier than during high crowd times, but you can get so much more done in the time you have. We found having hoppers a plus so we could head to Epcot most nights after other parks had closed.

It better be low crowds!!! We will be there the same dates! However, I saw that there was no Fantasmic(cant remember where i saw it) for that week at all, but that's ok because as long as Osbourne Lights are on we are all good :)

We are staying at AoA, how about you?

Just found it. Disney website Fantasmic closed just 11/19-11/21 :)

I am staying at POP, neighbor lol. Never have had the pleasure of seeing the Osbourne lights , or any Disney Christmas themed events. Very much looking forward to this.
This will also be my first time being there since this FP+ phenomenon has been implemented. With it being less crowded , and little wait times, should I even bother booking rides before we get there ?

It is a great time to go! We will be there Nov 12-18th and we go during this time every year. The crowds will start to pour in the weekend before Thanksgiving, so Nov 21-23 it will get noticably more crowded in the parks.

We are going then also, I was wondering about FP+ strategy. We RD so should we still save our FP for afternoon hours in second park or would you FP earlier in day in hopes of getting the rolling 4,5,etc. FP's. We always get the FP for afternoon at other times, like April and Feb. so just curious what people think. We were there 2 years ago in Nov. and it was so quiet and nice. We walked on many things.

AWESOME! We stayed at PoP last time! Need to do AoA because we have 6 people this time or else we would have stayed there again!

Even with less crowding, I would still do FP+...
Especially if you have a little one that is dying to meet Anna and Elsa. My boys are dying to meet them, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the line for them won't be as bad with or without a FP :rotfl:

Nah, we are empty nesters. I won't die if I miss TSMM. We love meeting characters. Hopefully these crowds will be low, trying to plan when we go on rides hurts my head. Too many decisions lol.

We are going to be there the 16th - 25th and was hoping the same. Will be at POP also. Not heard about the Fantasmic yet as we were planning on doing the one on Friday, the 21st. We also have tickets to the Christmas Party for the 20th.

Nice . I think we will be doing Fantasmic on the 17th. I wanna try to squeeze in as many parties as we can. Just not sure if the wife can handle three. :cool1:

We will be staying at POP from 11/15 to 11/21. Am considering extending to 11/22.

Hey Western New Yorker:thumbsup2 What airlines are you flying? I arrive in disney on Sunday the 16th and flying nonstop Southwest round trip.

Wondering how the weather will be? I think 50 degrees is warm though in the Winter being from Buffalo.
