Mommy to 5 your drinking icon is cracking me up. I hope to relax poolside with an occassional captain's and diet coke. Awww relaxation sounds so good right now. DH is traveling and being a single working mom stinks!

Hey everyone! It's been so quiet around here. I was just reading that there will be a MVMCP on November 14th......I think we'll get tickets. Anyone else going to go to that?

So, we'll arrive on the Wed the 13th and stay at POFQ (I think), then on the Thursday we'll go to MGM in the morning (so DS can see McQueen and the kids can see the Playhouse Disney show) and then in the evening we'll go to MVMCP. We're going to do the whole big Disney Park trip in 2-3 years when the kids are a bit older.

Isn't Friday the 14th? I think we will be giving it a miss. We fly in on the 13th but usually crash out by 7pm with all the travelling and time difference. Not sure about going on Friday, I need to be up bright and early. I intend to be first in line at PC!

Firstly....Happy Birthday to Me! 40!!!

I was AWOL for awhile there. We took in a week of skiing in the fabulous British Columbia Rockies. The weather was perfect. Everyone is home in one piece and very happy.

DD9 captured the gold medal at the provoncial judo tournament and will likely be named to the provincial team this spring (I'm sooooo proud!).

DS11 took a hockey stick to the schnoz last week...for 5 stitches. Nothing broken though!

The snow is starting to melt!!!!

I will be deciding on what to do at Grand Cayman this week.

I am very keen on the bracelets!

All your photo's are lovely! I will try and upload something when I finish the ski laundry!! It's looking like we have a pretty neat group!!

Sorry I've been MIA too... we've just been so busy! I'm actually not supposed to be here now either, but thought I'd sneak on for a minute or two.

I actually have more to say/write (don't I always? LOL), but I probably should go eat. It's Mexican night here so DD-17 has made tacos and burritos. If anyone wants to stop by, we have plenty! Just email if you need directions!

MY TA emailed me today to tell me Disney had sent him the dates for the MVMCP. Glad to see they are the same as had been posted, so we can indeed go on 11/14. Tickets should be on sale 5/1 and I will be on the phone then to get them!!

Penney from EBAY tried to email me a proof of the bracelet but I did not get it and she is going to try to resend it. As soon as I get it will post. I may need help getting the photo on here for all to see, but thankfully I see we have some experts!

Have been looking into airfare from NY, some great rates going down but awful coming home. I am hoping JetBlue will have a deal when they first open up those dates. Anybody comes across anything decent, please share!!!!!

You might want to try Southwest from Macarthur Airport, My husband can at least set you up with parking.(He's a cop there). Secondly, if you dont mind the travel, Budget Rental has one-way rates from Florida to New York, $5.99 to $15.99 a day, unlimited milage.

Happy Birthday izma!! Glad to hear all is well.

I have been M.I.A. also. We just got back from Naples, FL to visit my in-laws. Weather was so-so. Better than here in New Jersey. We had a nice time.

I have been checking airfares and they are a little steep on Continental and I am anxiously awaiting Jet Blue also I will do anything to avoid driving down to Florida.

I cant wait to see the Bracelet proof.

We are waiting on Southwest to open up our cruise dates. If anyone notices that they are booking thru November, please post here! I'll probably book immediately and then (hopefully) rebook at a better sale price. I love that we can carry over the airline credit until our next trip.
