My husband finally arrived home from deployment on Sunday. We're driving into Orlando tomorrow because our families live there, so we'll be staying with them and having some fun in the parks before the cruise. I'll have my laptop at my parents house, so I'll be able to check in

Yay for brunch!!!

We don't arrive until 11:30 AM on Sunday. I hate coming in so late but we have a cheer competition on Saturday and since I didn't know until last week when it would end, I couldn't fly in on Saturday.

I might as well jump in as well. I just booked this cruise yesterday.

It's actually the result of a very interesting confluence of incidents. WDW is entering the slow pre-Thanksgiving period, so I wasn't scheduled at work. At the same time, a trip I had previously planned down to Vero Beach in December fell through for various reasons. This cruise caught my eye, and seeing as how I suddenly have the time and extra money, I decided to go for it!

This is my first time ever on a sea-faring boat, full stop. So I'm sure I'll spend half the trip trying to overcome sea sickness, lol. However, I'm still looking forward to getting away for a bit. At least I can cross "Drop everything and leave country on sudden holiday" off my to-do list !

Welcome! How exciting! I don't think you will need to worry about seasickness. I'm pretty motion sensitive and I've never gotten sick on a cruise. I love the "drop everything and leave the country kinda holidays" I'm a huge planner but those are some of the best vacations!!

Thanks for taking care of this for us! This is our first Disney cruise too and my birthday so the brunch will help to make it even more special!

Yes, I am starting to slowly pack and do laundry. I just got confirmation that we are on for the brunch! Wahoo! I will be sending pm's to those that have signed up for the private brunch! I'm beyond excited! My two friends have never been on a Disney cruise and I really wanted to give them the royal treatment and I think the brunch will give them that!! See you all in just a few days!

I'm in the process of packing... Ok, probably over packing like I always do. I keep checking the weather, and it seems like it should be nice.

We never received our cruise documents. I called and they said they were mailed out, but only a few days ago. (which is understandable since our booking was a little last minute.) They said we really only need the online check in and we can get luggage tags at the port, so hopefully that's the case. I have a feeling they would arrive here tomorrow, but we're planning to leave early. Oh, well

The cruise is so close now. We will be driving over in the morning to the port. It will take us about 3 hours. It is an easy drive and looks like great weather. It was chilly and windy last weekend so this will be a much better sailaway day.

We are sooo ready as this is our first with Disney. FE's are ready and packing has begun. Safe travel to all to the port and we will see all onboard.

Let me know if we are meeting on Sunday.

I cannot believe it's only 3 days away! I'm sewing up a storm for my kiddos. I'm always still sewing at the last minute. he he. We will be leaving on Saturday and I just cannot wait!
