My opinion on Palo dining...I never pick the last night, simply because I usually really love my servers, and the last night is "special", kind of a goodbye to them, where you present your tips, and they do a little last night show. 1st night really isn't ideal because it is where you meet them, but I'd pick first over last night. Just my opinion

If I am cruising all adults, we usually pick Palo on Pirate night.

You should have no trouble on this cruise moving around Palo, by the way. This close, if there is any availability showing, you should be able to get what you want at Wavebands upon boarding.

Very good point! I like the idea of having Palo on Pirate night as well. I may have to talk my friends into that!!

I would love to get our request for the private palo brunch faxed over to DCL as soon as possible. Can you tell I realllly want to eat at the brunch

My wife and I normally sail on the Magic ... but will be sailing on the Wonder in April / May, when it heads to the west coast. Years ago, we had an assistant server on the Magic named ISMAEL (server's name was Salvatore). Ismael would eventually move to become a server on the Wonder ... and we were *wonder*ing if those of you online might be able to keep your eyes and *EARS* open for a server named ISMAEL. We're trying to figure out if he is still with Disney. If so, we will request him as our server for 2011. As it stands now, I do not think we can contact Disney to make such an inquiry, especially since we do not recall his last name.

Should you get Ismael as your server (main dining room, or Palo's), please PM us upon your return. Thanks so much!

Marlower, I do apologize for not getting back to you sooner. My Bachelor party was tonight and just got home. Unfortunately, we will not be doing the Palo brunch. We already have a Palo dinner booked and after talking about it, we will just stick with that.

So excited for the trip! It's our first Disney Cruise!

He was supposed to be home on Wednesday and they were delayed so it's been a little crazy. I'm still trying to find out more, but no worries if you find someone else who wants to go instead. Is anyone doing any excursions in Nassau? We usually just shop around and then go back to the ship, but I am thinking about doing an excursion this time and I was curious what everyone else is doing.

My two friends and I are planning on doing an excursion but not thru DCL. We will be doing the "resort for a day" visit at the Paradise Island Resort. It's an all inclusive package with all you can eat and drink plus the use of their facilities (pool, beach, restaurants, etc) and non motorized sports. The cost is just $50 per person.

Marlower, that sounds like so much fun! Where did you find the information on that one? We were thinking of doing the Atlantis Beach day, but I wasn't sure. As fun as the water park looks, we were just thinking it would be nice to lay on the beach and maybe see the aquarium. We were also looking at the wine tasting excursion, but it's a little pricey.
