I want to know that too... But everything I have seen from Trip reports and information on these board... you have a few choices...

Depends on if you want to do a park and cruise or just a place to say

We have been looking at the Doubletree and Crown Plaza. We will be staying 2 nights and hopefully using the park and cruise feature. Doubletree has queen beds and crown Plaza only has doubles.

We won't be parking...just taking a car or cab from LAX and sleeping Friday night.
so where's a good spot for a family of four?

Just wanted to check in with everyone...we are super excited!!! I am thinking about visiting Disneyland for two days after the cruise....not sure yet. Still thinking of cruise names...

Mickey and Minnie's Fiesta Grande...is that grammatically corrrect?...on the cruise they have some show/dance called Minnie's Fiesta Grande

We will be traveling without DH....please correct on FE list....anyone started on gifts yet?.. I have lots of ideas....if you are crafty check the thread on handmade FEs....awesome!!!

Did someone start a FB page for this cruise??? If so...how can I find it?..

I was just looking into doing Disneyland for a couple of days after the cruise and after talking with the airline rep realized it was your US Thanksgiving week!
Too crowded!
I will come back and just do a quiet Disneyland trip!

I will come back and just do a quiet Disneyland trip!

Lise - DL always seams to be crowded over our Holidays, but most of us don't have Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving off, so those days will be lighter than Thursday-Sunday. We are doing DL Saturday before the cruise. We will be arriving on Friday before the cruise.

We're doing DL the Fri and Sat before the cruise. I agree with Laura, it probably won't be that crowded right after the cruise. By Wednesday the crowds will start to pick up, but I'd think that Monday and Tuesday won't be too bad.

FYI...a lot of the school districts near Disneyland are closed the full Thanksgiving week this year...so it may be pretty crowded after the cruise...I'm guessing before the cruise will be better. BTW - if u want to go on Star Tours, go straight to the fast pass...they are gone by early afternoon.

Wow, after reading part of the crafty thread on FE, my only wish is that our list stays small!! Some people were making gifts for 80!!!!

I'm pretty sure our list will stay small and manageable. I'm thinking maybe around a dozen. If we had 80, I'd split it into a few groups. I can't imagine making that many FE gifts. I think I did about 25 for one of my cruises and that seemed like a lot.

No plans on being crafty for the FE gifts. DD9 has a plan and so I am going to let her execute on it. SHe is super excited about it after having done FE 2 times before. Unfortunately the last times I ended up finishing up the deliveries since she was always to busy in the clubs.


Any ideas on the name?

It will be our first Cabo night, which is Thursday!
