Hello everyone. We will be on this cruise as well.
We don't wish to join the FE (not enough room in suitcases) but would like to join this group.

We are a family of 3. DH, DW and DD (age 8).
This is our 2nd Disney Cruise. First was on the Magic - January 2009

HEY!!!! That is just way too cool!!!!
We will be leaving the Valley on the 11th and drive to Bellingham, where we fly out of as the flights were cheap. On the way back, we will be spending one night in LA before returning.
My youngest DD is 10, lots of kids similar ages on this cruise! More time for myself! We booked Paradise Beach adventure in PV and a snorkelling adventure the longest day in Cabo. I also am doing a Palo brunch.

Deadline is a month before sailing, so just a few more weeks. That way if any more join our thread between now and then, they can participate. So far there are 9 rooms participating. If you're trying to get them taken care of, could you just plan for a few more and then possibly have extras?

For those of you sailing with parents that are NOT in your stateroom, are any of them participating in the FEs as well (let me know so we have an accurate count on staterooms)?

We are flying out of Comox on the 12th and staying overnight at the Hilton by LAX airport and then taking DCL bus to the port. We are flying out on the 20th at 2:15pm.
We have booked PV beach resort, Cabo beach resort and Cabo dolphin swim.
Can hardly wait!!!!

Does anyone know what time the bus transfer will leave from the Disneyland Hotel to the ship on the morning of the voyage? I was told by someone I met randomly about the gift exchange, could someone tell me a little more about that?

I talked to DCL and they couldn't seem to give me an answer. Does anybody know this?

I needed to start on my FE gifts.....I went with the name...Fiesta Time on the Wonder and/or Fiesta Time on the Disney Wonder.....I hope that works for everyone.....

Who is traveling with you and where are you from?


DIS lingo is pretty easy to catch up on and just ask if you don't know. As for the DL Hotel transport, I would contact DCL and ask what information they have on that. I believe Shauna is staying at DL before and taking the transport. You can also ask on on the Main board, since there have been others that have taken the MR cruise in the first half of the year.

As for the gift Exchange It is called Fish Extender (FE) exchange... Shauna has put a link in the first post of this thread. But here is the link..

Welcome curtisclan! Check out the FE (fish extender) post and let me know if you want to join. It will be a lot of fun and isn't too much work. Who is sailing with you? I'll add you to the list on page 1. Feel free to ask if you have ANY questions about the lingo or anything! We're happy to help. We're staying at the Grand Californian before the cruise and I was just wondering the same thing--when is the pick up? If anyone finds out, post here on the thread

We might be on the same DCL bus! I said we are driving to Bellingham on the 11th, but it is on the Saturday. We arrive at LAX on the 12th at 11am.

No worries, I've got you on the list. Just keep posting here and you'll be able to pm (hopefully by the time you get your stateroom assignment. I'm glad you're participating even though you don't sew, the FE itself shouldn't be a big deal, but it sure is fun to participate! I love seeing what everyone uses for their FE--both the traditional ones and the creative alternatives.

Question...firstly I am not a crafty person so my gifts won't be homemade so im trying to buy things here and there that can be for boys or girls but when the list comes out will it have ages for the kids involved so I can make sure the gifts are age appropriate and do we get gifts for the adults too or just the kids?
