November 13-17, 2011 Dream Cruise

Yay, I'm official !!! I do have a question though. Do you FE everyday and is there a certain time? Or do we surprise everybody when we do it? You are right I don't wish summer away but wish our trip would hurry up and get here. We need a break, it was 107 at our shop today and this is only the first day of summer! Darn!

I'm not sure about how that goes either. I've heard some people do one time and others do something each day. Is this something that is agreed upon or everyone does their own thing?

I think that since the cruise is only four days that we should deliver one time during the cruise. I've planned for my FE gift to be used during the cruise so I will probably deliver it late the first evening or early the next day.:cool1:

anyone have young kids that will be joining you on this cruise? my boys will be 5 and 3 in November, and this will be their first "disney" experience as well as their first time on a plane....I think they are going to love it!!

We do! My boys will be 6.5 & 2 at the time of the cruise and our dd will be 4.5 yrs!

For those in our FE group that have kids- I found some Disney silly bands at Walmart, do your kids still like them? I don't have any young kids so your input is appreciated!

They were a hit for so long with mine, but now not so much. I'm sure they'd love them again though b/c its been a while since they've worn them.:rotfl:

will we get a more detailed list of how many in each party and ages in each family or group? also, when does everyone start doing or buying their fe gifts?

How do you guys get those neat count down timers? My son would get a kick out of putting one together.

Ok, scratch that I figured it out. Still scatterbrained I guess! Just getting more excited! Yay

on the cruises i have been on, we have had a scheduled "night" to leave FE gifts.. it think it is more fun that way- each day/night you get a little surprise when you come back to your stateroom. :thumbsup2

I think this sounds like fun. However, I know some have planned just one gift. I think that if you have multiple gifts, it might be fun to spread them out and then you can get something everyday and also get your moneys worth out of our FE's!

I agree. I think we should deliver our FE gifts based on type/amount and also depending on our personal schedules (activities planned) for the cruise.

:cool1:

Our plan is maybe one or two for the adults and multiple small things for the kids spread over the cruise. We are night owls so you never know when we are about! And do we sign our things or is it kept kinda secret so it's a surprise and doesn't turn into kind of a competition? :cool1:

Im new at this but I thought that's how we did it. Just on our own time...

A previous poster was wondering whether we should have assigned times as to when we deliver the FE gifts so we could spread out receipt of the gifts over the course of our cruise. I was responding that I think we should deliver based on the type and/or amount of gifts we're giving and our own personal schedules during the cruise.

Here's another question on a different topic: Any ideas for a cruise meet on the first day?

I plan to include a card with our e-mail address, so, if anyone would like to keep in touch with us after the cruise, they can do so. I think it's a personal choice, whatever you would like to do.

The e-mail idea is great! I never thought of that. Maybe we will do thank you cards on the last night and include that.
As for a meet and greet on the first day, I like that too so we can put faces with names and the kids could meet before signing up in their clubs.
Neat thoughts.... And getting more and more excited!!!!!!
