I am not much of a drinker. But I would like to have some mixed drinks on the cruise. What kind of mixed drinks do you usually make yourself on the cruise? Not from the bar but stuff that you brought on. I am thinking of bringing vodka. But do they have juice that I could get on the cruise to make a fruity drink? Or should I bring my own juice?

Yeah my teen has been fighting the cough and drainage..... The sea air always helps his allergies sooooooooooooo much!!!!

I usually bring some Crystal light drink mixes to mix with my vodka and water of course (I like Raspberry lemonade and Pomegranate lemonade). Lots less sugar and super easy to pack!

QUESTION OF THE DAY:how many suitcases are you bringing?

Sarah congratulations and WOW! I hope you have a wonderful day! Bring us pictures. Wow wow wow!

Disneydel theyhave soda fountains by the Mickey pool and they have HiC (says dd) and I know they have coke etc. Cups are small so i bring a pitcher with screw on cover so doesn't leak and small enough to fit in mini fridge. They do have sprite and as a former bartender from a hundred years ago, stoli raspberry with sprite and splash of cran. Roomservice is free but need to tip and can bring you acarafe of cranberry juice. Also lemon citron w icetea is yummy.(icetea from crystal light was a great idea) The steward can bringyou a pot of icetea but have to ask him ahead of time. If you are not a drinker, I may stay away from the vodka it can sneak up on you. I don't drink much either so I stick to beer.

Dd has conjunctivitis... Really didn't want her to miss school but poor thing her eye is swollen shut.

One BIG HUGE one and a good size carry on....But I will have extra room on the way back due to the extra room from carrying the FE stuff...

Of course there are three of us in the room with each of us having a HUGE suitcase......Gonna try storing under the bed.

We're still trying to decide what to bring. Tomorrow is packing day, even though we don't leave until the end of the week.

As it stands right now, the three of us each will have one suitcase and one carry on. However, there's the potential for that to increase to a total of 4 suitcases, once I get the kitchen sink disconnected.


I've missed some of the previous questions, so let's see if I can answer them:

Fav characters, Me (grumpy) DW (Mickey), DD (loves them all)

Pirate night - dressing low key, just bandanas etc and taking it all in.

Favourite thing to do on board - this is our first cruise ever, so we aren't sure yet, but we want to do EVERYTHING!!!.

E-Reader - I have a kindle but won't be bringing it. Who's going to have time to read while we're doing EVERYTHING!!!?

You're not collecting your luggage - it's going right to the ship? In that case, the short answer is - you AREN't! So it had better be very well wrapped in a wine diaper or a 'depends', just in case.

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Yesterday was lovely. We drove out of the clouds in southern PA. Had lunch at Ikea (and did just a 'little' shopping) and spent the afternoon at Longwood Gardens. WHAT a glorious day! Dinner at Ali Baba in Newark, DE. YUMMMMmmm.
