Hey guys,

My wife and I are trying to figure out when we should book our Palo ressie. We don't want to miss AP and I hear the PC is the least impressive restuarant. So we were thinking of booking the night of PC, but we don't know which night that will be. My question is, how do we make the ressie for Palo's without losing out on AP???? When do we find out our dining order?

you will find out your dining order upon boarding. remember-on the 7 day you will get animator's palate at least 2 nights, so you can base your reservation knowing you won't miss out.

And to STB on the beach a very special happy birthday to someone who shares the very best day of the year. And yes I am a realtor also. It has been the busiest summer in a long time, and the prices just keep going up. I'm even having to resort to FSBO's since everything on MLS sells so fast. Hope your market is doing as well. Choc Marg,,,Thank you sooooooooooo much for the Birthday song,,, that helped my day sooooooo much. Total strangers who are brought together by magic. (or in this case wonder) My day was not a great one, I pray yours was better, Houseforsale. Actually, you could probably relate,,,we started closings yesterday on a new condo complex. The construction is not complete (wondering who the developer paid off to get the c.o.) and the new owners are wanting their keys. Since construction is not complete, they will not let the owners into their unit due to the liability. Soooo, we have people who have just paid $700K for a condo that they can not access. AACCCKKK!!! That was just one set of problems we had yesterday.

However, last night while my husband (who is also a broker) and I were complaining about the day, I suddenly stopped and realized our day was probably better than Jessica's, and I had absolutely no right to wallow.

Jessica, I'm sooooo thankful, you are doing well. NOW,,, start packing!!!

STB on the beach it sounds like any one of many reasons why we wonder why we do real estate. There always seems to be someone out there that gets away with things they shouldn't, and others suffer from it. And we seem to be in the middle of those transactions. I do hope that it all works out for those buyers soon. And you are absolutely right, if we just look at what others are going thru, we realize we can smile about our own life. I'm all paid and ready for Monday morning with my wish list. We are VERY excited!!! We booked the cruise almost 17 months out so it's been a ling time coming, but it's almost here. YEAH!!!!

I just hung up with the cruise line and they told me that I can make my ressies for excursions, Palos and the spa at 12am eastern time. Everything I have read on the DIS says 3am eastern time. The lady I spoke to said she even checked with her manager.

WHICH IS IT?????? ARGH, I'm confused.

Frank - I was told 12:01 Eastern time. I was on line at 12:01-1:00 am - no luck. I suggest you try at 12:01 and keep trying until it opens up. We cannot help as we really do not know.... Good Luck!

Of all the things to worry about, the dining rotation is the least to wrry about and the one you have the least control over. We have only been on one 4 day cruise, and I so read up and stressed out on ALP LPA LAP or whatever combination I could think of, and it really did not matter. You will receive the rotation upon boarding and I think there will be enough choices. If not, well, that's why we go back!!!!

check the guidelines on canceling the booking that you make online. They always hold back some tables for when we board. Don't sweat the dinner rotations.

hey disnurse-just saw a new item on cnn and had to ask you abouy it (since you live in oregon and work w/ babies). according to the smidgin of info. given :breast milk in women in oregon is contaminated with a toxic substance (some type of by product of flame retardant?). is this some big issue that you are aware of up your way, have you heard anything professionaly about it? i'm curious because everyone around the sacramento area is in an uproar over the mosquito abatement spraying they are doing to prevent further west nile virus cases.

I can only tell you about the repeated (unfortunate!) encounters I have had with moms ingesting METHAMPHETAMINE....and so this is possibly what you are refering to?

We have a current case right now in the courts.....did the mom purposfely pass on the Meth to her unborn fetus though the umbilical cord before the baby delivered? Or was she "ignorant" and didn't realize the dangers?

Once the baby was delivered and the umbilical cord was severed, was the mom knowingly delivering a controlled substance? This is the kinda' crap I get sequestered for....and it is kinda' crazy sitting on these juries.....I have much better things to do.....like surf the DIS Boards and start to act serious about packing!

no it wasnt meth-cnn had a tag running at the bottem of the screen saying it was some type of toxin in the environment showing up in mother's milk.

is there any place meth is not running rampant?

Oh.....yes, now that I have read this am's newspaper I see the study they did. I can't imagine that I have somehow been exposed to flame retardant here in Bend....very few forset fires even around Central Oregon on the past 10 years.

But, you never know.....maybe that's why my kids run around like circus monkeys late at night and still jump off the furniture! Yup, must have been that darned breast milk they ingested!

the flame retardant is suppose to build up in the moms because of the clothes and how some of them are made. So this chemical is store with in the moms body and release when she feed the child. I think that some areas have higher levels than others
