November 12, 2005....7 Night Eastern...Who Else?

everyone is aware that the boat only have coke products. If you like pepsi ,you must bring it yourself. I started a thread awhile back about pepsi and how it tast better than coke. People actually gave the history of these brands and told us that they are die hard drinkers of their brand. It was wild.

Dear Jessica...hope you get this post before you go into surgery tomorrow....I am so sad for you and I hope all is well with your body, mind, and spirit thereafter! I truly will send you pixiedust at 1230 tomorrow! I, too, have gone through what you are facing. And after one healthy child you ask yourself, "Why?" :confused3 All-be-it at risk of sounding crass here....I helped myself in the healing process by reminding myself that something wasn't "right" and it was in a higher power's be.....and as an NICU nurse believe me, I have seen many little souls be born that weren't quite "right".....and ended in tragic torture and sadness.

The excellent reality to see at the end of the tunnel is that you will go on to create another miracle child just like Haley one day......mine is named Will and he is a hoot and a half! I always remember, however, that he had a sibling in between his big sister, Abby. That little soul will never be forgotten. :guilty:

My deepest sympathy. I truly stopped in my tracks tonight reading your sad news. I am really sorry. Have a healing vacation and say hi to us all when you return, please.

Jessica, we too are so very sorry for you loss. It is a hard thing to live thru, but like Disnurse say's, I too feel this happens for a reason. Whatever the reason, you will be stronger for it. Take a deep breath, you won't forget, but it will get better. Good luck tomorrow and we also will be sending good thoughts and prayers to you. Look forward to giving you a hug when we meet on the Magic. Yes, Choc marg, I knew when I read the post that your eyes would match mine.

You are all too sweet. I will bring lots of wine with me to share from Georgia now that I can partake in the wine tasting.
Disnurse - I thought of you during the ultrasound and knew that it was better now that having a 24 weeker being born with tons of problems. It is hard, but we will survive!
We just decided on the Wilderness Lodge for our stay next week. We analyzed it for hours (good to keep my mind of off the sadness) and thought Haley would have fun and we would too.
I'll come let you all know that I am back from surgery and most likely very feisty on Friday or Saturday.
And you know.... I am coming home from the Disney cruise with a "little souvenier" if I have to stay on that ship for 3 weeks! :earseek:

Wilderness Lodge is wonderful...treat yourself to dinner at Artist Point, Haley will love the pool. You can rent bikes and ride to Ft. Wilderness Campground. Try the hoop-De-Do Review over there - or nightly campfires movies for a change and then relax in your wonderful hotel.

Travel very safe, we are getting the effects of the stomr down south...but you will be fine in Orlando...

More prayers for you and your family today - esp. at 12:30.

There was a thread on the children born after the Disney cruise....it might make you smile...

This cruise can not come fast enough. This will be my son's 5th Disney Cruise. So you would think he knows enough about it. But NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I have to watch the Cruise DVD over and over and over and over with him. :) ::MickeyMo

Jessica, Our prayers are with you now during this time and as you travel south. I couldn't think of a better place to heal physcially and emotionally than DISNEY! Have an awesome vacation! Know you will be in our thoughts!

Houseforsale,,,it seems we may have something in common. Today is my b'day also! And, are you too, a real estate agent?

i feel so organized-got my rental car resis for mco to wdw, and port back to mco, got my meal resis for wdw, dh scuba at epcot, found a door to door airport shuttle that only runs 8.00 more than long term parking lot :goodvibes

now i can concentrate on getting dh to figure out what scuba he will do on the cruise, decide on beaches, and figure out which of the grocery delivery services i want to use (i know i could go shop for myself, but we don't check into the vacation club until the 2nd day and i don't want to eat up wdw time grocery shopping/besides a couple of the local stores offer free delivery with a minimum purchase i will have no problem reaching).

speaking of dh-we were going to rent his tux, but i found a place that has them on sale on-line for less than what we would pay for renting twice. free shipping, 30 day return policy, and it's gotten positive reviews from people on the boards who have purchased from it. so he is off to a local tux shop after work to get measurements :bitelip:

princesshayley'smom-hope you are feeling well, been thinking about you all day. will think positive thoughts about your getting that cruise souvineer (our dd is a souvineer from maui-in fact her name is "marissa" which means "from the sea"), we will understand if we never see you and your dh beyond embarkation  .

Totally forgot until you mentioned it....haven't thought about it in years...but DD, Abby, is our souvenier from our 1 year anniversary on the Big Island (Hawaii). :sunny:

I am home and perfectly fine! Yay me!
I am not even taking the percocet that was given to me!
So now on to happy times!!!!!!
I like to hear about everyone's little souvenier's..... the doctor told me today November is my month! :love2:

Jessica - I'm so glad you are feeling good! Maybe a few of us can take turns with Hayley so you two can have some quiet time :)

Great News Jessica! I am so glad that all went well. Take care of yourself and get some rest. Wow I really do sound like a mom.

Happy Birthday to the TWO Birthday Girls!

You can forget thinking we might reach # 1500 post......that is a laugh at this pace! I say #2000, easily! :goodvibes

I am almost done reading the new Passporter DCL guide book....it is so great! I have read it cover to cover. My conclusion.....and I am not even quite done.....

:cool1: I would never even bother with a 3 or 4 night DCL cruise....so much more to offer on the seven night cruises and you can bypass the dreaded Nassau! :earboy2:

:cool1: I would consider staying on the ship at some ports depending upon weather 'cause there are many benefits to that too! (Costa Maya?)

:cool1: I always want to arrive a few days prior and stay at the Port somewhere....there is so much to see and do!

:cool1: I will never go on a DCL cruise out of LA.....yuk, yuk, yuk, and more yuk..... pirate: Southern California is not my cup of tea and eventhough we live on the West Coast, we will always fly to MCO and go from there! :wizard:

:cool1: I will try to pay attention to the "little" things onboard! Sounds like there are many opportunities missed!

:cool1: I don't ever want to try to disembark and try to hurry to catch a flight out of MCO all the way back to Oregon....just too far and it is worth a night's stay at the Hyatt at MCO in my opinion.

:cool1: I am convinced it is not worth it to take the kids out of school during Sept or Oct....prime hurricane season......and a hardship to them just starting school....I think we will always DCL and WDW our lives in November. Still, we will take the kids out of school but at a better time for all. :grouphug:

Thanks choc marg for the Happy Birthday song. :thewave:  Thanks also to FairyDismom for the happy birthday too. And to STB on the beach a very special :cake: happy birthday to someone who shares the very best day of the year. And yes I am a realtor also. It has been the busiest summer in a long time, and the prices just keep going up. :cool1: I'm even having to resort to FSBO's since everything on MLS sells so fast. Hope your market is doing as well. ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: Oh yes choc marg can't wait to see the bands, they look great. Good job. :jumping1:

Hey guys,

My wife and I are trying to figure out when we should book our Palo ressie. We don't want to miss AP and I hear the PC is the least impressive restuarant. So we were thinking of booking the night of PC, but we don't know which night that will be. My question is, how do we make the ressie for Palo's without losing out on AP???? When do we find out our dining order?

Thanks

Frank

disnurse-we've also stayed the night of disembarkation at the airport hyatt-it works realy well. another option we've done is to book a later flight on disembarkation day while getting a day rate at the hyatt. we've just napped while the kids watched tv, taken a shower, gotten a bite to eat from room service-it was so much better than killing time at the airport.

our flight leaves around 3 this time which i why i opted to get a rental car so we can be a bit more leisurly.

have a lovely weekend all.
