I m able to print one iron-0n for the poem.We need to decide who will get this shirt.( It was my last iron.) The shirt will be an xl and we can sign it with our screen names. Just post who you think should get the shirt but, I need the information by monday night because I' m leaving tuesday. Let the voting began...

I vote for Barkley too!! Definitely!!

I had some surgery in May & have leftover percoset from that, so I've been taking that at night to help me sleep. So, I've definitely been getting good rest! The shingles still hurts, but if I roll my shorts (yes, we are still in shorts) down & my shirt up, it isn't too bad. Just feels like cactus spines in my clothes when my clothes touch the sores, so I avoid that at all costs.

I have looked at both Target and Walmart for lanyards and haven't found them. Where did you all find them at Walmart???

Thanks for doing the name tags! I didn't realize you were doing them for all of us! I'll run to the office supply store today and see if I can find some lanyards there (I couldn't find them at our Walmart either).

Not that I'm encouraging anyone to make ANOTHER trip to Wal-mart, but those lanyards are by the wallets - usually close to the clocks and watches. I had a heck of a time finding them at first, too. Of course, they're easier to find once you've already purchased all you need

......you guys all make me laugh! Thank you! Remember I mentioned I tap and take hip-hop classes? I perform at the same recital as DD every June. I once considered doing our last year's tap dance on stage at the talent show.....but ONLY IF IT MEANT A FULL PAID CRUISE or some great incentive! Sorry, it would just be too much (and take too many glasses of wine) to get me up there to dance in some slinky outfit to Madonna's "Music".
If it was for a 7 night cruise of your choice, I'd have the CD and tap shoes packed already! I think DCL is missing out on this one.....they need to be more generous with their "prizes".

Okay, now all the snow has melted, as for the past 4 hours it has been POURING down rain! We hardly ever see rain like this here.....that is what Western Oregon is notorious for, the Willamette Valley. We, here, are the high desert and get very little rain...lots of snow and sunshine.
GET ME OUTTA' HERE! .......DH returned from the back country and said it was an absolute BLIZZARD up there! He was at 7,200 feet today and there were already feet of snow in our Cascades! We'll be coming home after Thanksgiving to an open Mt. Bachelor ski resort and our kids chompin' at the bit to get on thier skis! What a dicotomy of weather!

Choc-Marg, you will feel better soon, I know it. The people who suffer most are those who don't realize there is something going on and ignore it for days if not weeks. Rest, take those meds, and if it's too painful, don't hesitate to call tomorrow AM and say you aren't sleeping well (pain). They will prescribe you Vicodin or Percocet. One or two of those should really help you feel better and sleep! DON"T HESITATE! You just need to speak up!....and, no, don't feel like a "druggie" asking for such a thing!

I will have to bug Barkley for a copy of that wonderful poem! I can't quite trust that if I press "print", that our entire thread won't be spitting out paper on the floor well into the night!
Just need that poem, you know? Gotta' have that poem!

Ok barkley it is. All of this wetting on ones self will have us peg as the pee group. What ever it takes to get someone to run around naked, I'm game for it. Baby girl woke up this morning and said I'm going to see Mickey, and went back to sleep.

awoltoday has been minding his post and providing me with GREAT sounding forecasts for the Eastern Caribbean and Bahamas! Yeah! We may get our wish!

The running around the house naked thing started when I opened my big mouth and told the kids in August that if DS got lucky enough to be picked (lottery style) for the all-day Kindergarten program, I would run around the house naked yelling, "Yeah!" Well.....he got in and yes, I was extremely happy and I unfortunatley had to live up to it. I guess that set a more lasting impression in DD's mind than I thought.

If she a problem teenager, it'll be all my fault.

we are all moving to bend,Or They got some freaky stuff going on out there. Those mountain people ! Jaypd isn't those things that the nurse is talking about illegal except back in the hill? The wine she is bringing may be made in that spare room on the 5 floor of their small home.Those Oregon folks have nothing on those in the hills of Tennessee(strange spelling for a state).
