Well, it appears that I have finally caught up. Whew!!

As far as something interesting about us. Hmmm. You all know quite a bit already. As I posted a long time ago, I have a survey tabulation business that I run out of my house. It keeps me busy, but flexible enough to volunteer for WAY too many other projects. I LOVE to cook/bake when I don't have to. I like to sew & craft and I am really good at copying other people's idea, but horrible at coming up with my own. Something you probably don't know about me is that I am the president of the local Delta Gamma alumnae chapter. I am a DG (although I can assure you that the stereotypes are completely untrue). These are among my most treasured friends. In fact, Jeff Probst's mom is also a DG & that's how I scored you all some Survivor loot!! I also sold the most boxes of Girls Scout cookies in the state of AZ one year I was on the cover of the AZ GS calendar that year.

DD6 loves to swim, sing (she could definitely use some of Angiebelle's help on this one), do art, cook & try to get on my last nerve. DS4 loves all things involving trains. Thomas is definitely a fav, but it just doesn't matter as long as there is a train involved. He loves to draw (trains), watch movies (with trains), go to the (train) park, shop (at the bookstore or toystore with a train table). He even drives himself around the house choo chooing.

Our candy bucket is more full now than it was when we started. But, the Great Pumpkin visits our house after a few days. The kids are given the option to leave their candy out for the GP to take. In its place, he leaves a treat. Sometimes a good book, sometimes a new movie, whatever strikes his fancy. This year he has Cinderella & a Thomas movie waiting for the candy decision. The kids have never chosen to keep their candy in the 3-4 years that we have been doing this. Then houseforsale willtake the candy to her office candy jar

This is such a great idea....mind if I pass it along to friends with kids...???

I'm not sure if anyone has responded to this yet. I didn't see it in the few posts following it. The postcard exchange will happen at our first meet on Sat at 3:00 at the Walt Disney Theater. Everyone is bringing 30 postcards from their state to share so that the kids get a little education on the trip . Some people are signing the back, others have added some pieces of info about their state.

I don't think that we have decided on the wine/chocolate date/time yet....

Oh, yeah, I was thinking of printing a picture of Hedgie on my post cards....Hum, that just might not happen....Sorry folks...
