November 12, 2005....7 Night Eastern...Who Else?

Hey Guys!

It's HOT here. We're expected to be in shorts and tank tops tonight when we're shooting off fireworks on the beach. I have yet to even pull out my winter coat - OK, it's just a light weight jacket - But, still, it has yet to see the light of day this season.

I hope you all have a spectacular, safe evening!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Another year - another miscarriage. Surgery is Wednesday. Thanks for all of your support and prayers - I guess this one just wasn't meant to be. We've known since last week and we've had company until today so I am doing ok. Doctor again is saying bad luck - exactly why I don't play the lottery.

Hope everyone else has a wonderful new year and that I am the black cloud of the group and take away all the bad stuff for everyone.

I guess I never have fessed up to what the kids thought on Christmas night, opening the "small package" left till last under the tree.......

They are absolutley besides themselves! And something I can freely talk about now! Almost a relief!

.....I can also hang it over their little delivish heads when they are naughty! :rotfl2: he, he!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL! :wizard:

Question, if DCL decided to go to the mediterranean (sp?) in the Fall of 2007 (10 nights probably) would any of you be game? Depends on price, I know.

Jessica,

You will be in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers in the upcomming year. Hope all works out for you and that you can find the happiness and peace that you deserve.

Jessica,
We are so sorry about your loss. We can personally relate eo the kind of pain you are experiencing. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Jessica, I hope everything went ok today. We are thinking of you often today.
Please let us all know if we can do anything to help you through this.

I'm home, I'm alive and I am fine!
I had a major fear I was going to die in surgery - had Haley sleeping with me all week and everything. I was an absolute basketcase but feel ok now.
Haley tells me it's time to go to the beach and with that I agree. Now on to plan a beach vacation for my 2 1/2 year old. :teeth:
It really sucks nice people have to go thru this crap - I mean if I took drugs and was abusive to my child maybe I could say I deserved it. Or if I ate hot dogs 6 times a day and chocolate cake for breakfast...... when you can't get good answers and you are a control freak, things like this are maddening! pirate:
So........ on to 2006 and on to better things. It's an even year - maybe I will be lucky this year.
I will take all the good, healthy vibes for a nice end of the year baby that you can send me. And I promise all of you that have cruises this year will have good weather (I won't be on it so it should be fantastic :rotfl: ).
Thanks for the nice thoughts and prayers - it means a lot!

On to Disney cruise info - travel agents must now call in the full amount due - no more discounting - this is similar to what RCCL and Celebrity have done. Just passing on my knowledge that I gained this week - I bet most of you already had heard that though!

Hugs from the Crazy Lady in Georgia :grouphug:

So glad to hear that you are better now and looking :sunny: brighter towards the future, Jessica! :flower:

2006 will be the year for you guys! I know it! :goodvibes

Take care of yourself!

Jessica - I just read the thread and am so sorry. Yes, prayers are with you and your family......I am glad to hear that you are out of surgery and recovery - many prayers and a big disboard hug...... and some pixie dust as well. :wizard:

Hi folks - just checking in on a rainy Monday morning.

We are in the process of having our new roof laid - old roof is now gone and the tar paper is up....The shingles are here, just not nailed on the roof. When this is done, we can have some trees cut, hate to do it, but we will not be going through another season with trees close to the house, and the new roof.....Here is to a hurricane free 2006.
:sunny:
We went to WDW last weekend,,,and splurged at Victoria and Albert's. Everyone should spoil themselves at least once.

We also had high tea at Grand Floridan which, sorry to say, is much better than the cruise tea. Perhaps because we did not have 14 foot seas in Orlando? :rotfl2:

So everyone take care. I need to seriously start the scrapbook from our cruise. Is anyone finished yet?

Later.... :wave2:

Rain? What's that? I have a vague memory of something, but I'm not getting it. 100+ days here without precipitation (a record) and no signs of it. I guess I'll find out in a few days as I'm headed to London (BURRRR!) tomorrow night.

Glad to hear your only shingles are on the roof. I'm sure it will be nice to get the whole process behind you so you can concentrate on your May cruise! I've placed a spy on your cruise and they will be keeping an eye on you for me!

No scrapbooking here. I think I'm lucky we got the pictures off of the camera. Did the nurse do that yet? ;)

:stir: Okay, pot-stirrer.....No the "nurse" hasn't quite gotten around to printing out a single one! :stir:

:surfweb: I really need to do that! I just feel good at least about knowing they are there and they are safe. I promise to get them off (actually press the delete button! :scared1: AAAGGGH!) before we leave for Cancun in March.....I will have no choice, then.

Let me ask you this....if I print out from the disk I have made of the pictures, does the quality come out the same as opposed to printing them out from the disk?

....Do tell, :listen: thou picture God. :wizard:

Saw you causing trouble over on the thread about what we could envision as the new addition to CC. A few sour-pusses were over there saying, "ya know...I just think they could ruin CC".... :rotfl:

DON"T FORGET ABOUT THE NEW SURVIVOR THURSADY NIGHT EVERYONE! :yay:

Oh, yeah....and about the lack of rain.....my parents in Scottsdale call me regularly and boast about their premo weather. Although I saw a story about poor Flagstaff and the ski resorts have ZERO snow!
We, here, in Oregon are drowning in 200 inches on snow and LOTS of rain....too much! :furious:

Well, assuming you just copied the files from the memory card, they should be the same files. So, yes they should print out exactly the same. If you mucked with 'em along the way then there's no telling what you will get. ;)

Me? Trouble? What about you? I was just following your lead! I didn't bring up the margs & having the pirate boys giving you a rub down! (I might be paraphrasing a little) Some did take the whole thing a little too seriously. I've come to the conclusion that the ship is the mostly scenerio. It seems they haven't put a whole lot of money into CC. They just keep dumping others used stuff there! So, I don't think the high rise DVC resort is very likely :rotfl2: Whatever it is, it's very unlikely I'll even see it. I enjoyed just hangin' out at the beach with the kids, I'm not sure I'll ever try any of the extra stuff there - well, maybe 1 each time.

Turn those rivers around and send us some of that water! We're parched! Astoria even made the news here the other night because of all the rain (like anybody IN Astoria could tell it's been raining more!).

I gotta go get the kids in bed and get packed! TTFN

If one more person asks if the food on Castaway Cay is included, I am gonna blow! :guilty:

Have fun on your trip to the land of rain and fog, awoltoday!
Surely you can find some moisture on the British soil!
Gary is half English and half Slavic.....rain/fog, rain/fog.......grew up in Eugene, Oregon......I think it is in his blood.

Are you gonna miss Survivor on Thursday? Can Tina tape the show for you? ;) :thumbsup2

But, are there chairs or umbrellas on CC? Can I bring my own snorkel? :rotfl:

You forgot snow... there is actually snow in the forecast. I hope I don't have to shovel any. I don't miss that! :cold:

I won't see Survivor, but I won't miss it at all. I will miss The Shield. Gotta get that Tivo soon!

hello all-been a while since i've posted but i have been keeping up on reading this thread.

don't feel down if you have'nt done your photos from november yet-while cleaning the garage the other day i found a bunch of stuff from our alaskan cruise in 8/04!-guess those 99 cent calandars can be put to good use in school projects for the kids :)

we too are getting lots of rain-the nearby towns suffered flooding new year's week. we fared better and are thankful when we bought our home we had the yard regraded and extensive drainage systems put in place (our backyard stays relativly dry while our neighbor's resemble swamps).

we are looking at putting our house on the market around march 1st-still no set decision on where to move yet but we figure we can rent around here while we decide (don't want to wait until the housing market gets too flat or begins to slide down). i have discovered the joys of "freecycle"-i love the concept of people of not only want my cast off junk but are willing to come and retrieve it! p.s.-houseforsale, if you have clients who want to get or get rid of moving boxes it's a great way to go-they are very popular items on the boards.

beyond a short couple of days to the snow we have yet to plan-there are no vacations in our immediate future. i think we will be banking dh's vacation time for visits to those states/towns we narrow our moving choices down to. i did get a cruiseline mailer that included a tempting offer that i was willing to do a trial run in anticipation of dh and i maybe doing during retirement (how many decades from now? :lmao: )-105 days around the world, new york to new york-and a steal at only 17,000.00 per person. you can imagine how receptive dh was to that idea :rotfl2:

we've still not jumped on the survivor bandwagon-though we continue to enjoy wife swap and trading spouses. we had a good laugh recently when they used a family from the town next to us who happen to be friends of our babysitter. it was esp. funny because instead of showing the town they lived in all of the panoramic views of the city were from sacramento (about 30 miles away).

ah well, got to get to gathering all our tax stuff together for the cpa next week, and then back to hauling junk out to the garage.

catch you later.
