Miatamel, looking at that picture of your daughter in her Peter Pan costume--my husband and I were right behind you in line for Peter Pan and Wendy (when hook was playing with your daughter as well.)
I remember her well and commented to you how absolutely adorable that costume was and how cute she looked.

sadly, we got the diagnosis yesterday and it is cancer - the dr now says she has about 3 months to a year - although before the diagnosis he had said 6 to 12 months (i think he should have to stick to that!)

i just checked my pm box and i dont have anything from you . . .

sis is doing good - although she is back in the funk of counting days until her weekend . . . but we might be recruiting some friends for the 2008 cruise (linda is hoping they offer a triple dip)

So sad. We have a dog now, but have had kitties in the past. It is so hard to lose a furry family member!

I feel bad for you. It seems so hard to lose a pet since you treat them more like humans than some humans should be treated. I have been there with our dog. In fact that dog was part of most of the group that went on the cruise. She was such a well loved dog. We got the news around this time of year many years ago, but just couldn't go through the holiday without her. Maybe it was selfish, but we just wanted her for a little while longer. We made her very comfortable and spoiled her silly. I loved that dog and she was only around me a short time. Everyone has only good to say about Ginger. That Christmas we made sure we all took a picture with her individually. (me, the two DS's and DH.) Those pics never came out when the roll was developed. Can't figure out why, but we did manage to have some pics from the cam corder. No one every forgets their pets. Well as I said I know how that is and I'm right there with you guys.
On a lighter side I still miss the ship and can't wait for 2008.

Just a reminder, and this may be a repeat, to absolutely double check your reservations, if you rebooked onboard our cruise. Lauri was kind enough to start a thread alerting of potential errors... some deposits never made it through and would have resulted in cancelled reservations, some staterooms were switched.

In my case it turns out they rebooked me on the wrong date! DCL's online ressies had me booked on 11/24/07 and it should be the 11/10/07. They are working on fixing that now. Also, they overcharged the deposit by $250 and they are refunding that.

Many thanks, again, to DISer Lauri because I probably wouldn't have checked without her warning!

We rebooked for 11/24/07 eastern onboard and received a confirmation onboard and in the mail at home with the stateroom we wanted. When I just checked it online it was a different stateroom. We are most likely changing the date to the 11/10/07 Eastern anyway, but that isn't the point. CHECK YOUR RESERVATIONS!!!!

I did get a call from DCL regarding my reservation - but we got it all straight! I didn't know you cannot apply the discount to a cat 3... but no worries, the itinerary we will be cruising on isn't even open yet, so lots of time to think about that... NOW just to figure out if Jackie and I will be joining the crazy ladies next year cuz we can't wait till 2008... this weekend tells all!!!

It is the floor right outside the entrance to the 2 shops on deck 4 - where the doors are opposite/across the hall from each other.

I did get a call from DCL regarding my reservation - but we got it all straight! I must have been so busy with my KTTW in my hand that I didn't even notice the ground I was walking on. BTW... my re-booking was correct (we didn't book a specific room as we plan on changing the date anyway). We re-booked for the last week in April with thoughts of changing to whatever fun cruise DCL announces in January for the summer/fall of 2008.

I also got my AMEX bill from the cruise... It was all correct! Yep... I kept telling my sweet DH to stop buying me all those yummy drinks each night.

Good thing I'll have the bill paid off before he comes home from China!

Well the gals have twisted, bent and almost broken my arm, but it's true...

WE ARE GOING ON THE WONDER 12/07!!!!! Four nights at WDW and my first trip to Nassau!

Then, I can start thinking about the secret (not so anymore) 10 year anniversary cruise in 2008!!!! I'm offically in love with cruising!
