fellow cruisers!!! I am so excited I could bust!!! We have all been doing our happy were going on the cruise dance. Last min question.. Do you think if one of my freind needed to pay me back some money the could give me a check on my ship board account? I told them I think it would be better to stop at an ATM before getting on the ship. Not wanting to travel with cash an all. What do you think?

If you don't find it, you can have one overnighted from most states at vitalchek.com. They are very quick and reliable. You could have it sent to the hotel you will be in Friday. Remember it needs to have that raised seal, the ones from vitalchek do.

Not sure if DCL would accept a check from someone not cruising. Maybe they could give you something like a Visa or AMEX gift card/traveler's check?

I told someone in our traveling group that they could write a check for cash at Guest services (I think a friend on our previous cruise did that). Is this true? I would hate to have steered them wrong.

Yes, I think they will cash your own check, but I'm not sure that they'd take a friend's check on board to apply to your account.

You can drop off pillow cases and Sharpies in a Zip-Loc bag at guest services and they will return it to you on Friday night magically signed by the characters! It's a wonderful and FREE souvenir. As I understand it you don't have to include the Sharpies but if you do it will be signed in all the colors you sent! We have pillow cases on both of my boys beds from our last cruise. Such a wonderful memory!

Do you have a home safe? Or a bank safety deposit box? Those are the two places I put stuff and forget because I don't go in there much. The safe is fire proof so we have a small one at the house ... keeps our social security cards and stuff you don't use often but need for new jobs, etc. Hopefully u will find it!!!

Michelle...Oh, man, lady....you are soooo good! Today was BEAUTIFUL. Walking through Tomorrowland at the end of our day, we shouted out in unison, "Thank you, Michelle!!" So grateful for the wonderful weather. Had a GREAT time at Magic Kingdom. Didn't seem bigger than Disneyland, but newer and better in a lot of ways. But, what did they do to Country Bear Jamboree?? That was my favorite when it was at DL...couldn't stand it here today! Don't know if we'll be at DTD tomorrow, but I have your cell number in my backpack and I'll call if we are. Oh, and we're at the Radisson, too, so if we see beautiful Miss Angelina, we'll stop by and say hello!

Peggy...Kids can NOT wait to see you!

Jackie...Kids can NOT wait to see you and have had MANY DCL questions that their lame-o mom can't answer...told them to ask you. If they don't ask Mr. and Mrs. Woody tomorrow!

The kiddos are fast asleep and now DH and I are going to get into the junk food

Magical Express Rocks!!!!!!!!!! ( Is the shuttle service from the Magic back to MCO as good as this?????) I have a car rental booked but I'll happily switch if they're anywhere near as efficient as today's service was.

We are beyond impressed with this place so far. We're at All Star Music in a family suite and it's awesome!


Where can I get pillow cases??? It's the only thing on my list I didn't get to. If anyone can bring my 2 I'd sooo appreciate it. Anybody going to get some????

I know sharpies were mentionned but if you are near a craft store, fabric markers are designed for fabric. They're permanent and won't run. Just a thought.

Anyway, Dh will be back with the junk fest soon so I'll say goodnight and happy munching

hi all! Mom made it down from PHL and her flight was 20 minutes early. I burst into tears when I saw her...I'm such a baby!

We hit Walmart tonight cause she forgot our magnetic door signs at home. Also picked up the CARS dvd for the boys to watch on our way to port.

Got my nails done but no pedi....didn't have time so now I have naked toes

Glad all that traveled made it down here safely.

We are hitting MGM in the a.m. and then going to MK to meet DH and the boys after school. I can't wait for mom to see Spectro and Wishes.

If you have transportation there is a WalMart Super Center on 535 just south of the World. Or there's always a chance you could ask at your hotel if they could sell you a couple new ones from Mousekeeping.

Good thought on the fabric markers, wonder if they're expensive. Don't want to buy a bunch for just this one use. Maybe Joann's has a set of them and I could use my 50% off coupon for them!

But what about liquor? I took a bottle of Kahluah on Norwegian and they took it away until Friday night.

Just a quick check in to say hi! Laundry is finished, but I still haven't started packing yet. And the kids have activities till 9PM tomorrow night. But in two days we leave. I'm so excited I could . Looking forward to seeing everyone at the meet. We're all sure to glow with our bracelets.

I don't believe DCL confiscates liquor. I have heard reports of security people checking coolers, and commenting on what a good time the person was going to have. Just don't bring any of that dreaded ice to keep drinks cold--that is definately not allowed.

No there is no pooh paraphinalia onboard. Thank goodness as my DSis would be out of control.

I still have to weed through all my shoes/sandals. I just do not know what ones I could leave behind. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I am hoping to finish the packing tonight and clean tomorrow. I want my corner of the world to be clean when I get back. It will make it easier when I move out 10 days later.

Well off to p/u some iron on transfers, clorox wipes and pillow cases. I also thought I would p.u some snacks for the crew members and maybe some phone cards.

I will check in later.
